0:53 to talk to today about are you paying attention? A lot of things people

0:58 say God would be to me. I wish I would hear his voice.

1:02 I wish he would direct my steps, and so on and so forth.

1:04 And they keep looking at scriptures which says that my sheep will hear my voice,

1:08 and that a God is a God who speaks, He is a revealing

1:12 God. And then they say, I don't know why God isn't speaking to

1:15 me. I don't know why God isn't, you know, guiding me or

1:19 directing my steps. But I want to share as something very important with you

1:23 guys. When you look at numbers twenty two, it's a very familiar passage

1:29 where a donkey spoke, and you know, he was actually speaking to a

1:34 prophet called balab Okay. Now it's an irony because Ballad is a prophet,

1:41 which means he should be in a place where he could have a direct communication

1:44 with God. He was actually having a communication with God. But here's the

1:48 thing he had to he had he was in a place where he was fighting

1:53 between what God wanted him to do and his own personal desire. Like,

1:57 you know, God didn't want him to go somewhere, but he was want

2:00 Cindy bestering God, God, please, I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go.

2:01 I'm gonna go. Uh you know, in the sense you know sometimes

2:05 you know when you see little children, they keep bestering their children. I'm

2:07 sorry, they keep bestering their parents. You know, I want to go

2:10 to this, I want to get this, I want to get this.

2:12 And sometimes even though the parents don't want to get something, they just end

2:15 up getting because they're so annoyed. You get what I'm saying. That's an

2:19 exact moment that happens here where God clearly told Ballam, don't go. But

2:23 he was bestering God over and over again because he was enticed by the you

2:28 know, you know, the riches or you know, the rewards that he

2:31 would get if he went. And he God is like, okay, fine,

2:36 go, right, But God was not happy about sending him. But

2:39 he just went. But even as he was going, there's a moment where

2:44 the donkey that he was riding on started speaking because an angel was trying to

2:51 you know, stop him. And there were so many obstacles along the way.

2:53 See, when God doesn't want you to do something, he keeps stopping

2:57 you. He keeps directing your steps, he keeps guiding you. But sometimes,

3:00 you know, you can be so engrossed in what you want, you

3:04 can be so filled with what you want or what you know God wants for

3:08 you, you can be blinded. You know what they say about especially in

3:13 the day of relationships, right, they say, you know, people ignore

3:15 red flags in relationship because you know they're so blinded it so so filled with

3:20 that you know, those emotions and those uh you know, all those feelings

3:23 and all of those things that come for the moment. And this is exactly

3:27 what you see with ball him when he's so filled with the rewards that he's

3:31 going to get the richest out of all the different things that he's going to

3:36 be getting, that he's ignoring the red flags. God is constantly saying.

3:39 First of all, God kept saying, don't go, don't go, don't

3:42 go. Then also there's a moment when you is traveling and there is a

3:46 moment where the angel is trying to stop, and so the donkeys going here

3:52 and they hither Tida, and he's getting mad at the donkey and not think

3:55 about this, he's like getting mad at the donkey and beating and at done

3:59 more when donkeys speaks and and and it's amazing to notice something very very uh,

4:06 how do I say this? You know, it's kind of weird or

4:10 it's something that you don't think, you don't fathom, But here's the thing

4:15 verse twenty eight of numbers twenty two. Right then the Lord opened the donkey's

4:19 mouth, and it said to Balam, what have I done for you to

4:23 beat me these three times? And verse twenty nine, Balam answered the donkey,

4:28 you made me, made a fool of me. Folony I had a

4:30 sword in my hand, I would kill you, and the donkeys said to

4:33 Balam, I mind not your own donkey, which you have always written through

4:39 this day. Have I been in the habit of doing this too? And

4:43 he said, no, it's annoying, or is it? It's it's kind

4:46 of like how I say this. It's weird that he is so engrossed in,

4:51 you know, getting his way, that he didn't even realize that he

4:55 was talking to a donkey. Can you just imagine that for a moment,

4:58 the donkey was speaking and he was not taken aback to wait, wait a

5:00 minute, what donkey are you speaking to me? You know, he's just

5:04 having a conversation with the donkey. Can you imagine that? Can you even

5:09 believe that? Guys? You see sometimes this is what happens. You know,

5:13 you're so engulfed in what you want, You're so filled with what you

5:17 want, You're so filled with your expectations. You're you're like, you know

5:20 what, even though you say you know I want God's will and all of

5:23 those things, that you're so much in a place where you're in gross or

5:27 saturated with what you want for yourself that even though God is constantly signaling to

5:30 you, he's speaking to you you're not paying attention. He's speaking in unusual

5:38 ways, but you're not paying attention. You know, yesterday there was a

5:43 moment when I was thinking about something. I was just spraying and walking.

5:47 You know, every time in a walk or when I drive or right,

5:50 I'm always speaking tongues. I just keep praying that. That's my thing.

5:54 I just love to be alone in the presence of God. And I was

5:57 just walking in a spring about something. And you won't believe this, Like,

6:00 I just a particular word that I was specifically praying, and I just

6:05 look up and a guy is wearing the same word on a T shirt and

6:10 walking past me. And I was like, this is not an accident,

6:13 this is not a coincidence. This is the Lord, Who's Who's Who's confirming

6:16 that word. You know. You know, God can speak through unusual things.

6:20 I've shared this so many times. If God can speak through a donkey,

6:24 he can speak to you through anything. God has spoken to me through

6:29 my favorite TV shows. God has spoken through me to move through movies or

6:33 you know anything. God can speak to you through anything. If you're just

6:38 listening, God wants to speak to you. You know, even in the

6:43 Book of Job you know, God actually spoke to job through the world.

6:46 When the Bible says through the world wind you see, guys take the limits

6:51 of God wants to speak. But sometimes you can be so caught up with

6:56 your own thing that you're not listening. Today prayed the name of Jesus Christ,

7:00 that we will get to a place of God, that we will pay

7:03 attention to what you're saying, that we would listen to your voice and follow

7:10 your leading. In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen, God
