1:00 I need to do. I am having a job, my family is doing

1:03 well. I don't need to worry about overflow. I don't need any of

1:07 that overflow. Let God give those overflow for those who are suffering, maybe

1:11 those who are in the poverty driven areas. For me, I'm able to

1:15 pay my bills, I'm able to clear on my dues. And that's all

1:19 fine. But can I tell you something, Yes, you need to be

1:22 content. You need to be happy, grateful for what God is doing in

1:26 your life, and God God has done in your life, but you should

1:29 never get to a place where you're living a selfish life. You're saying,

1:32 I can pay my bills, so I don't have to think of overflow.

1:34 No, if you can pay your bills, why didn't you ask God for

1:38 more so that you can pay the bills of somebody else? If you can

1:42 go to a place where you're saying, my family is fine, why didn't

1:46 you ask God for more so that you can bless more families who are suffering

1:49 financially. Or you maybe saying, John, I'm having a job, so

1:53 I don't need to think of a promotion or to see any of those expansions.

1:57 Nor can I tell you why don't you ask for promotion so that you

2:00 can get more influence so that you can hire more people, give employment opportunities

2:06 to other people. Or you may be saying, my business is doing well,

2:08 it's supporting me and my family, and I'm doing fine. Now,

2:12 why don't you ask God for more so that your business can better in a

2:15 sense that your business can fund the Kingdom of God. Your business will be

2:21 able to support other charitable and ministry organizations and churches. What if your business

2:27 can grow to a level where you can dictate terms in the policy of the

2:31 government, and you can get to a place where you can build the Kingdom

2:35 of God through that. What I want you to understand is many Christians are

2:38 sadly living and ask for me and my household lifestyle. As for me and

2:44 my household, if everything is fine, and I don't have to worry about

2:46 other people. As for me and my household, if I can pay my

2:49 bills, I don't have to worry about anything else. No, that's a

2:53 very selfish way to live. Don't just live for yourself. Live for the

2:57 Kingdom of God. Live to build the kingdom, Live to enhanced his kingdom,

3:00 Live to glorify God through your life. Live to a place where not

3:06 only you'd think of the blessing for yourself, but you get to a place

3:08 where you can be a blessing to other people. When we look at the

3:13 incident recorded in the Book of John chapter six, it talks about a time

3:17 when Jesus had fed thousands of people with filoas of bread and two fish.

3:23 Now, what I want you to understand here is this important truth. This

3:28 little boy who brought the filoaves of bread and two fish, brought the food

3:32 just for himself. If he had just sat there and ate the food,

3:38 nobody would have asked him anything. He would have been filled. You'd have

3:42 been happy everybody else having, but he would have been satisfied. He had

3:46 enough food for himself. Now, some of you are living in that.

3:51 I have enough for myself. I just don't have to worry about other people.

3:55 I have enough for myself. But God did not get you to this

4:00 place for you to just live for yourself. This little boy, if he

4:03 had just eaten the filas of bread and two fish, he would have survived,

4:09 and he would have been happy and satisfied, but we wouldn't be talking

4:14 about him. What made the difference was he had that little but he had

4:18 the courage to take it to the Lord to bless it, to be a

4:21 blessing to other people. What you have is enough for yourself, for your

4:27 family, for your community, for your church. But I'm asking you to

4:31 ask God for something more, for something bigger, for an explosion, so

4:35 that you don't just live for yourself. You don't just have for yourself.

4:40 It's not just you being fed, but you can feel multitudes with what you

4:45 have. That's what my challenge to each and every one of you is,

4:47 don't just say it's enough if I have it, it's enough with what I

4:51 have, no ask God for more so that you can be a great blessing
