1:15 Speaker 2: shut and not open your mouth at all. That's not

1:17 Speaker 2: the context. They are but you need to understand that.

1:20 Speaker 2: Sometimes you know, when you realize that opening your mouth

1:24 Speaker 2: can land you in greater trouble, or when you realize

1:26 Speaker 2: that you know you have that in disadvantage, or you

1:31 Speaker 2: have a negative how do I say this habit or

1:35 Speaker 2: something negative about you with your mouth? You need to

1:39 Speaker 2: be extra cautious, like you tend to overshare things, or

1:43 Speaker 2: you tend to be critical of people, or you tend

1:45 Speaker 2: to negative speak negatively even when you don't feel like it, lea,

1:50 Speaker 2: it just naturally comes to you to speak something negative,

1:54 Speaker 2: or you know, spoil things with your mouth or something

1:57 Speaker 2: like that. You know, I want you to be very,

1:59 Speaker 2: very careful because the Bible says those who control their

2:02 Speaker 2: tongue will have a long life. But sometimes you know,

2:05 Speaker 2: opening your mouth can ruin everything. No, Like when you

2:10 Speaker 2: think about the best example I can think of is

2:12 Speaker 2: how Joseph was in a position where he got these

2:16 Speaker 2: dreams from God. And what does he do Instead of

2:19 Speaker 2: keeping it to himself, he goes and shares it with

2:22 Speaker 2: his family. No, it's so important that you are keeping

2:27 Speaker 2: your mouth shut sometimes because if he had just kept

2:30 Speaker 2: his mouth shut, of course God used everything for his good.

2:34 Speaker 2: But here's the thing. If he had kept his mouth shut,

2:37 Speaker 2: he would have saved him from a lot of trouble.

2:40 Speaker 2: You get know what I'm saying. Because he opened his

2:42 Speaker 2: mouth and shared it with his brother so excited they

2:45 Speaker 2: were jealous of him. If he had kept his mouth shut,

2:49 Speaker 2: the dreams that God has placed in him or given

2:53 Speaker 2: him would have definitely come to pass. See when you

2:57 Speaker 2: think about even in the scripture talking about maybe, it

3:01 Speaker 2: says that she keept things to herself and pondered in

3:04 Speaker 2: her heart. See, there is a thing where you need

3:07 Speaker 2: to learn to keep things to yourself because you don't

3:10 Speaker 2: have to share everything to the whole world. See in

3:14 Speaker 2: my heart or in my life, like there are things

3:16 Speaker 2: I share in terms of the challenges I face because

3:20 Speaker 2: that helps people and encourages people. But if I'm going

3:24 Speaker 2: to be sharing things that make no difference in your life,

3:27 Speaker 2: there's no point in me sharing, And I am rather

3:29 Speaker 2: making a fool of myself in doing that. You get

3:32 Speaker 2: what I'm saying. See, there's also a moment where the

3:35 Speaker 2: apostle Paul in the Book of Facts was about to

3:38 Speaker 2: be let out as a free man, but he made

3:42 Speaker 2: a mistake. He said, I appeal to Caesar. And because

3:47 Speaker 2: he had done that, he was not let loose, because

3:52 Speaker 2: he opened his mouth and said, I appeal to Caesar.

3:56 Speaker 2: If he had just learned to keep his mouth shut

3:59 Speaker 2: at that point, he could have walked out as a

4:00 Speaker 2: free man. That's exactly what the once in authority said.

4:06 Speaker 2: This man could have walked out free if you had

4:09 Speaker 2: just not opened his mouth and said, I appeal to Caesar. Guys, today,

4:15 Speaker 2: my challenge is, don't let your words cause you to

4:19 Speaker 2: limit your life. Don't let your words put a strain

4:23 Speaker 2: in your life. Get to that place where you ask

4:26 Speaker 2: the Lord and the Holy spirits help receive it, and

4:30 Speaker 2: learn to guard your lips. Watch over your lips so

4:35 Speaker 2: that you make sure that your mouth does not ruin everything.

4:41 Speaker 2: Some people, it's just so easy for them. The minute

4:44 Speaker 2: they open their mouth. They want to just give a

4:46 Speaker 2: piece of their mind to somebody. They talk nonsense, They

4:51 Speaker 2: just trash people. Or some people are all the time

4:54 Speaker 2: negative where the Bible is life and that are on

4:57 Speaker 2: the part of the tongue, and they keep inviting negativity

4:59 Speaker 2: and death into their life and other people's life by

5:01 Speaker 2: their words. Don't let that be you today. Make you

5:06 Speaker 2: the commitment that you will guard your lips and control

5:09 Speaker 2: your tongue and make sure that your mouth does not
