0:54 It's wonderful for me to be here back on the Fuel for the Soul with

0:59 John gift Up podcast after a gap of almost four weeks after I completed a

1:03 thousand episodes of the podcast. It's been a refreshing journey for me where I

1:08 just wanted to take some time off and just spend time in the presence of

1:11 the Lord and just asking for direction and just moving as for the flow of

1:15 the Holy Spirit, because you see, sometimes you need that break. You

1:19 know. I'll maybe talking about this in future episodes as well, but one

1:25 of the things I want to talk to you today is that, you know,

1:26 when we think about our own life, sometimes we look at our life

1:30 and say, John, you know, I'm not seeing anything great happening,

1:34 anything good happening. I've gone through a lot of unfair things. Maybe growing

1:38 up you didn't have a good childhood. Maybe you had some experience that most

1:42 people in the world would not have gone through. Maybe you grew up,

1:46 you know, in a dysfunctional home, or you went through some unfair incidents

1:51 happening, or an experience like maybe you know, a calamity or a natural

1:57 tragedy, or maybe a thorist attacker thing that you went through. And you're

2:00 saying, John, you know what my start of my life it is hasn't

2:06 been good. You know, there are so many hurdles and so many things

2:10 that push me under. And you know, I can't expect anything good coming

2:15 out of my life, John, I don't see a bright future. But

2:19 no, I want to share this with you guys today because I believe this

2:22 is such a powerful word. Even as we're in this Christmas season and we're

2:25 moving towards, you know, remembering the day when Jesus was born for the

2:30 salvation of mankind. I want to share something with you. You know,

2:32 we all know one thing when we think about the word Bethlehem. What comes

2:37 to your mind the fact that Jesus was born in Bethlehem. Right. If

2:39 you see Matthew Chapter two was one it says Jesus was born in Bethlehem in

2:47 Judea. Right, So there's there's no doubt about it. Jesus, the

2:51 sacred of the world was born in Bethlehem. When you see in the scripture

2:55 the first time the word Bethlehem is mentioned, the first mention of the place

3:00 of Bethlehem was actually in Genesis thirty five, verse nineteen, where Rachel died

3:07 and was buried in Bethlehem. Okay, Rachel died and she was buried in

3:12 Bethlehem. See the first time Bethlehem mentioned, The first time Bethlehem is introduced

3:17 to us in the scripture is having a negative notation and notation to it.

3:23 It's a moment when somebody died. It's a moment of tragedy. It's a

3:27 moment of you know, something unfair. It's a moment of you know,

3:30 deep sorrow and grief. And here you see that the very place that is

3:36 known for grief, that is known for something bad, that is known for

3:40 something that you don't want to speak about. A loss of a loud one

3:46 is the place where you see something beautiful coming out. You see the savior

3:51 of the world coming into the world. Think about this. The very place

3:55 of grief turns out to the place where the man who is going to carry

4:00 all our grief is going to be born. The very place of sorrow is

4:05 the place where the man who's going to be called the Man of sorrows because

4:10 he's going to carry the sins of the whole world, is going to be

4:13 born. Think about this today, that your life today as a whole,

4:16 may seem like it's in a very bad shape. You're saying, John,

4:21 my beginning has been bad, has been hard. But I want to challenge

4:26 each one of you under the sound of my voice, that this is your

4:29 day, this is your moment, This is your time for you to say,

4:32 you know what, I'm not going to let this stop me. I'm

4:34 not going to let this keep me hunder. I'm going to choose to depend

4:41 on God, choose to look up to the Lord, because I believe that

4:44 God is going to bring beauty off of these ashes. I believe that God

4:46 is going to turn the tables around. I believe that what the enemy meant

4:50 for harm, God is going to turn it for good. If you believe

4:54 I believe in the name of Jesus Christ, that you will receive what the

4:57 Lord has in store for you. In Jesus Name God. You've been listening
