1:02 Speaker 2: so unpredictable. We are just seeing people getting laid off,

1:06 Speaker 2: or there are so many divorce rates increasing, or we

1:10 Speaker 2: are looking at so many people you know who are

1:12 Speaker 2: falling sick for sicknesses that I've never been heard of.

1:15 Speaker 2: For so many unpredictable things happening. You know, the markets

1:19 Speaker 2: are crashing, Everything is uncertain, and we live in a

1:23 Speaker 2: time and age when we're like, you know what, I

1:25 Speaker 2: do not know? How do I discern my next move?

1:27 Speaker 2: What do I do in the season of transition? What

1:30 Speaker 2: do I do in this kind of an unpredictable economic condition,

1:34 Speaker 2: or in a moment when I'm like, oh my gosh,

1:36 Speaker 2: what if I lose my job, or what if my

1:39 Speaker 2: client doesn't renew the subscription or whatever be it today,

1:43 Speaker 2: I want you to understand that in the midst of

1:45 Speaker 2: this that no matter what happens, doesn't happen, no matter

1:50 Speaker 2: what is going on or not, I want you to

1:53 Speaker 2: understand that God is sovereignly in control of your life,

1:57 Speaker 2: and he is a good God. He is a faith god,

2:00 Speaker 2: He is a loving father, and even before the foundations

2:04 Speaker 2: of the world, he planned you. He created you, and

2:07 Speaker 2: He has set a purpose for your life. And he

2:11 Speaker 2: said in his word you know what, you know, the

2:13 Speaker 2: way I take care of the birds in the field,

2:17 Speaker 2: I'm going to take care of you. You don't have

2:19 Speaker 2: to worry. I know what you need when you need it,

2:23 Speaker 2: and I'm going to meet your needs Because He is

2:26 Speaker 2: our ultimate provider. He is our ultimate source. Yes, you

2:30 Speaker 2: may have a job and a client, and you may

2:32 Speaker 2: be greatful for all of that. We all have to

2:35 Speaker 2: be grateful for things that God has placed in our

2:38 Speaker 2: lives to bless us. The resources, the connections, the family,

2:42 Speaker 2: the roof over our head, the clues that we have.

2:46 Speaker 2: We're grateful for all of that. But understand that it's

2:49 Speaker 2: not you by yourself having all of this, but it

2:52 Speaker 2: is the ultimate hand of God upon your life, the

2:55 Speaker 2: gracious hand of God providing for you your source. He

3:01 Speaker 2: is the one that matters, and he is saying, you

3:04 Speaker 2: know what, I know what you need. I have your

3:06 Speaker 2: best interests at heart. Won't you trust me in these

3:10 Speaker 2: troubling times? When you look at the scripture, there's something

3:14 Speaker 2: that really caught my attention. Now I want to talk

3:16 Speaker 2: to you today from Birth Kings chapter seventeen, and there's

3:20 Speaker 2: a moment where there's a huge famine in the land. Okay,

3:25 Speaker 2: and this is divinely orchestrated famine. And verse two says

3:30 Speaker 2: the word of the Lord came to Elijah saying leave,

3:34 Speaker 2: turn eastward and hide in the credit rawine east of

3:38 Speaker 2: the Jordan. You will drink from the brook, and I

3:41 Speaker 2: have directed the ravens to supply you with the food.

3:44 Speaker 2: There see its something that seems like, oh my goodness.

3:48 Speaker 2: You know what, there's a famine in the lad be

3:50 Speaker 2: living in a time and age there is there's such

3:53 Speaker 2: a unpredictable, uncomfortable season that we are in. Famine in

3:57 Speaker 2: terms of job opportunities, famine in terms of business avenues,

4:02 Speaker 2: Famine in terms of the fact that so many people

4:04 Speaker 2: are losing their health out of things. There's a famine

4:08 Speaker 2: of huge health crisis. There's a famine in terms of

4:11 Speaker 2: so many people are single and not able to find

4:13 Speaker 2: the right person that God has ordained for their life

4:16 Speaker 2: in some way or the other. There is an element

4:19 Speaker 2: of a famine, element of something that's just not working

4:22 Speaker 2: out and whatever is happening. And here's the thing I

4:25 Speaker 2: wanted to understand. The word of the Lord came to Elijah,

4:28 Speaker 2: are saying, I want you to go to this rewine

4:32 Speaker 2: and the Bible season verse five. So he did what

4:34 Speaker 2: the Lord told him to do. I don't know who

4:37 Speaker 2: needs to hear this word. Guys, no matter how unpredictable

4:40 Speaker 2: your situation is, don't just go by what you feel

4:43 Speaker 2: go by what the Lord is saying. It may seem weird, like,

4:48 Speaker 2: oh my gosh, God, you know what, there's a famine

4:50 Speaker 2: and you're asking me to go to a rewine. You're

4:52 Speaker 2: asking me to drink from a broke, You're asking me

4:55 Speaker 2: to depend on ravens. That's so unpredictable. What if the

4:59 Speaker 2: ravenstop cos What if the ravens don't like me? What

5:02 Speaker 2: if the ravens don't bring the food on time? What

5:06 Speaker 2: do I do? But here's the thing. He did what

5:09 Speaker 2: the Lord told him to do, and he stayed there,

5:13 Speaker 2: and the Bible says the ravens brought him bread and

5:16 Speaker 2: meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening,

5:19 Speaker 2: and he drank from the brook. You see, when the

5:22 Speaker 2: Lord says I will take care of you, he will

5:25 Speaker 2: take care of you. He will provide for you. There's

5:28 Speaker 2: this beauty of how he orchestrated this. The word says

5:32 Speaker 2: I have directed the ravens to supply. In one translation,

5:35 Speaker 2: it says I have ordered the ravens. In another one,

5:38 Speaker 2: it says I have commanded them. You see, God commands

5:42 Speaker 2: how you should be fed, how you should be taken

5:46 Speaker 2: care of, how you should be provided. So go by

5:50 Speaker 2: what the Lord is saying and asking you to do,

5:53 Speaker 2: instead of going by what you feel, what the natural

5:57 Speaker 2: tendency for you to think about a situation looks like.

6:01 Speaker 2: And then here's the thing. After some time, the brook

6:04 Speaker 2: dried up, okay, because there was no rain in the land,

6:08 Speaker 2: and verse say says, and the word of the Lord

6:10 Speaker 2: came to him and said, go at once to Zerah

6:13 Speaker 2: Fad in the region of Zidome, and stay that. I

6:16 Speaker 2: have directed a widow there to supply you with food.

6:20 Speaker 2: And the verse ten says, So he went to Zerah film.

6:24 Speaker 2: I want you to think about this. When the brook cried,

6:28 Speaker 2: Elijah didn't go looking for another brook. Typically we say, oh,

6:32 Speaker 2: I lost my job, let me go looking for another job.

6:34 Speaker 2: I lost this client, Let me go looking for another client.

6:37 Speaker 2: I had a breakup, let me go looking for somebody else.

6:39 Speaker 2: You see, he didn't just go by what he felt

6:43 Speaker 2: or because you see, he could have got used to

6:45 Speaker 2: this lifestyle. Sometimes we get used to a certain lifestyle

6:48 Speaker 2: and we're like, nord, Oh, this is how I'm usually fed.

6:51 Speaker 2: This is how God usually provides, This is how he

6:54 Speaker 2: has been providing in the past, through this job, through

6:56 Speaker 2: this kind of career part or whatever. But the Lord

6:59 Speaker 2: is saying to you today, don't just go by what

7:02 Speaker 2: God used in the ast, don't go by viral senses

7:05 Speaker 2: are saying, don't go by what you're used to or

7:08 Speaker 2: comfortable with, being a place where the minute God said,

7:11 Speaker 2: now I want you to go to the Zerah faith,

7:15 Speaker 2: and you know I have directed a widow to supply

7:20 Speaker 2: you with food. Didn't stay there, He went where God

7:23 Speaker 2: led him today. That is my challenge going through unpredictable seasons.

7:29 Speaker 2: The key to face unpredictable seasons is by staying connected

7:36 Speaker 2: with God and listening to what God is saying and

7:40 Speaker 2: following him. Not going by what we feel, not going

7:43 Speaker 2: by what logic or your mind says, not going by

7:47 Speaker 2: what people are giving you as a piece of advice. See,

7:51 Speaker 2: there's a place for everything, right like there's a place

7:53 Speaker 2: for listening to good advices. There's a place for having

7:56 Speaker 2: spiritual discernment and wisdom. All of that is true. What

8:00 Speaker 2: surpassed everything is your relationship with God to a point

8:04 Speaker 2: where you know God is leading you in a certain

8:06 Speaker 2: direction and you go by it. And that's the challenge

8:10 Speaker 2: I want to leave with each one of you today

8:12 Speaker 2: in this unpredictable season, go by how God is leading you,

8:17 Speaker 2: coop by his direction of your life, and I'm telling

8:20 Speaker 2: you your life will never be the same for the better.

8:23 Speaker 2: I challenge you to share this around with somebody who

8:26 Speaker 2: will be blessed by this sermon, and I encourage you

8:30 Speaker 2: to come around. Let's keep unlocking new things that we
