0:53 to ask you this question today. Is your heart sick? Are you in

0:56 a place in your life where you're just sunk with a place of hopelessness where

1:02 you're saying, John, I put so much of hope, trust and reliance

1:06 upon the Lord and this word the promises. I thought God would do this

1:08 at this point of time in my life. I thought I would have got

1:11 settled by this time. I thought I would have met a person of my

1:15 dreams. I thought my business would have taken off, or my ministry would

1:19 have taken off, or my career would have taken off. But John,

1:23 I just don't know why. Nothing seems to be working, and I'm just

1:26 so sick to my stomach. I don't know what is going on. I

1:30 don't know where well I ever be able to stand or there is no element

1:38 of hope for me. There is nothing that I can stand on at this

1:42 point of time. Maybe you are saying, John, Yes, listening to

1:45 these messages encouraged me and remind me to stay on track. But then,

1:49 John, in reality, when I just go back to my life, I'm

1:53 in a place of hopelessness. John, I'm just so sick and I don't

1:57 know what to do. I want to share a scripture with you, and

2:00 I'm want to take this forward because you know, when I was just praying,

2:04 the Lord was constantly reminding me of the scripture. And this is what

2:07 the Bible says in Proverbs thirteen, verse twelve, Hope deferred makes the heart

2:13 sick. Hope deferred makes the heart sick. I just wanted to check exact

2:19 meaning of the word deferred. It actually means like hope being put off to

2:23 a later date, like put off, okay, not for now, some

2:25 other time. That's why if you see some other translations, they actually say

2:30 it like delayed hope makes the heart sick. This a place where you understand

2:38 like, oh my goodness, I thought this, this should have happened,

2:40 but it's still not happening. Another translation says, hope prolonged makes the heart

2:46 sick. So in other words, you know, it says that if you're

2:51 feeling sick, it's scriptural. Okay, this is what the Bible says.

2:54 Because that thing that you're waiting on, that thing that you're hoping on,

2:59 and it doesn't happened, and it has prolonged, it has differred, it

3:02 has delayed. And another translation says good news. It says, when hope

3:08 is crushed, the heart is crushed, right because you thought, you know,

3:14 by this time, this would have happened. By now, this should

3:15 have happened. John, I don't know why things are not happening. I

3:19 don't know why I've been just being like a fool, standing on God's promises

3:23 a day and a day or people laughing, people are marking a sense of

3:27 embarrassment and shame and ridicule and mockery has come over me. And I really

3:31 don't know how long it can just hold on. I don't know if this

3:34 is never meant to me, that you know, God's blessings will come upon

3:38 my life. But I want to just share this word of encouragement with you.

3:40 If you're in a place like that where whatever you put your hope and

3:46 you were waiting on to happen or things to turn around, and you're in

3:51 a place where your heart is sick, I pray in Jesus name that Jesus

3:54 will heal your heart. Jesus will heal your heart or shakarada, Lord,

4:00 I release your anointing upon those who are listening in the name of Jesus Christ.

4:03 If they are in this element of a place where their hope was deferred,

4:10 their hope God delayed because of a prolonged hope. You know they're in

4:15 a state where the hope is crushed and their heart is crushed. To God,

4:18 I pray that this word will go forth in the name of Jesus Christ.

4:23 In the name of Jesus Christ, Lord, let them be healed,

4:26 Let them be restored with the new hope that comes in knowing that, yes,

4:34 heaven and Art may fear away, but God's world will remain forever.

4:38 God is faithful, the one who has called you. Is faithful God who

4:43 put the dreams, the desires, the promises, the visions he gave you.

4:46 He is faithful. Yes, it may seem like a delay, but

4:48 the delay is not a denial. God is going to show up. God

4:54 is going to turn the tables around. You know. The scripture goes on

4:57 the same but the longing fulfilled is a tree of life. The same words.

5:00 It says, there were the longing fulfilled. Another translation, but the

5:04 dream fulfilled is a tree of life. Desire fulfilled is a tree of life.

5:10 So I want you to understand this important truth. I love these other

5:15 translations says, but a wish that comes true is a life giving tree.

5:19 And I also want to share another scripture with you, and I want to

5:24 remind you of this Isaiah forty thirty one. This is something that most of

5:28 you may know by heart. But it says, but those who hope in

5:30 the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles.

5:34 They will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

5:39 Today, I want you guys to introspect yourself. Maybe if your heart

5:43 is sick, what's it? Because you put your hope on hope. You

5:46 put your hope on circumstance. You put your hope on maybe this will work

5:50 out, this will turn around. Maybe you put your hope on time without

5:54 you know by this time it will happen. You put your hope on somebody

5:58 and they disappointed you, they forgot what, they walked away. You put

6:00 your hope on something, but he didn't work out. You put your hope

6:04 on the stock market, but the economy crashed. You put your hope on

6:08 the job, but you lost your job. Whatever it is, you may

6:13 be in a place where your heart is sick. I am challenging you to

6:18 put your hope on the Lord. Put it on the Lord. Say God,

6:24 you know what. I'm putting the ball on your coat. God,

6:27 I'm doing what i need to do. I'm doing my part. I'm not

6:29 being complacent and lazy. But at the same time, God, I really

6:32 need you to show up. I really need you to do what only you

6:35 can do. Give me your grace, give me your strength. And the

6:38 Bible says and when you put your hope on the Lord, he will renew

6:42 your strength. Your strength will be renewed even if your heart is sick.

6:46 Today, I pray that as you put your hope on the Lord again.

6:49 God is going to renew your strength and He's going to give you the grace

6:53 to sew on wings like eagles, and you will start afresh. And I

6:58 pray in the name of Jesus once again, O God, for those who

7:00 are going through that season where they're completely crushed and broken in the spirit,

7:06 broken in their heart. I pray in the name of Jesus, that this

7:10 word will strengthen them. What Spirit do, What only you can do.

7:13 God, My words cannot comfort them. Only you can comfort them. Only

7:16 you can strengthen them. Only you can do the work in them. Oh

7:19 God, do what only you can do, Jesus. In Jesus name,
