0:53 the things that a lot of people do is they just put the ball on

0:56 God's court. They just say, you know what, the scripture is very

0:59 clear, right John, when you say things like Matthew nineteen twenty six,

1:03 where it says Jesus said with man, this may be impossible, but we

1:07 call all things are possible, or you know, they look at certain scriptures

1:12 and they just put it like this, you know, yes, God could

1:15 do the impossible. It's anything too hard for the Lord. And they also

1:19 take scriptures like you know, be still and know that I am the Lord

1:22 and you know, just wait for God and you know, let God do

1:25 it. Let God fight the battles for you see, there's a place for

1:29 all of that. There's a place to be still. There's a place to

1:32 trust God and wait for him to do what he's supposed to do or with

1:36 what only he can do. But there's also another place. You need to

1:40 understand that people use that as an excuse to stay complacent. They use that

1:45 as an excuse to just do nothing and this be idle. They use that

1:49 as an excuse to just go to sleep and wait for God to do everything

1:53 for them. But that's not what you need to understand. That's not what

1:56 we're called to do. If you're not called to just sleep and just those

2:00 off and just expect God to do everything, there is a place for you

2:04 doing your part, because you need to understand. Uh, you know,

2:07 we are supposed to partner with God and with God we will be able to

2:14 accomplish the impossible. You see, the Bible does not say for God can

2:17 do the impossible, for God can do anything. For God can um you

2:23 know, like make everything beautiful in its in God's time, or you know,

2:28 so on and so forth. That's not the way it is mentioned.

2:30 The Bible says, you know, with man it is impossible, which means

2:36 that, yes, you're right, Man can't do this. With man,

2:39 it is impossible. But the Bible does not say but for God can do

2:45 the impossible. It says, but with God, all things are possible.

2:50 You see, it doesn't use the word for. It uses the word that's

2:53 something very very important here, which means that you're not just putting the ball

2:58 on God's court saying God, who can do the impossible? And I just

3:00 sit back and what you do, and I'm not going to do anything.

3:04 But that's not what it means. It means what we're supposed to do is

3:07 we are supposed to partner with God, and so we're partnering with man.

3:13 We are supposed to partner with God. And when we partner with God,

3:17 all things are possible. You know. Even when you look at the scripture

3:22 in first Corinthians three, verse nine, when you look at the King James

3:27 version, it says, for we are laborers together with God. We are

3:31 God's fellow workers. You see, you have to understand we are all you

3:36 know, when we say yes to God's call, when we go after the

3:38 things that God has called us to do, to fulfill her calling, fulfill

3:43 our purpose, so that through our life we'll be able to glorify His name.

3:46 Through our life, will be able to expand His kingdom. Through our

3:50 life, we'll be able to share the Gospel with other people. When through

3:53 our life we'll be able to, you know, make the impact that we

3:55 are supposed to do and finish our assignment. And you know, you know,

4:01 run the race and finished the race that God has said for us.

4:04 That's all there. But you cannot do that with your own strength. At

4:11 the same time, you can't do that just by depending on people with God's

4:16 with the help of people. But at the same time, it doesn't mean

4:19 that you don't do anything and expect God to make your life perfect. You

4:26 see, God uses people. He partners with us. You know, he

4:32 works with us. I know as much as you healed to him, he

4:40 comes in and takes control. So that through that partnership between you and God,

4:47 you'll be able to do the impossible, defeat the giants, conquer all

4:54 the opposition. You'll be able to overcome every obstacle. You'll be able to,

5:00 you know, overcome everything that comes against you, and and through that

5:04 process, you'll be able to fulfill your purpose and finish your race. Well,

5:11 today, I want to ask you this question, how have you been

5:15 in terms of this aspect? Have you just been putting it all in God's

5:19 court and doing nothing and wondering why God isn't showing up? You know,

5:24 I love this court I've read or heard sometimes you know, God will not

5:29 direct a parked car, you know, in the sense that you know,

5:32 even if you look at GPS right, if if you're just standing still,

5:36 the GPS do is not going to say anything. You know, only when

5:41 you move, GPS is going to say, hey, you know, take

5:44 a left here, take a right here, you know. And if you're

5:46 waiting, GPS is going to wait. You know, you know what I

5:49 mean. A lot of people are just waiting on God. God do the

5:53 miracle. You know, God show up in my life. God, you

5:57 know, I want to see this happen. I want to see that happen.

5:59 But what are they doing nothing? They're just dreaming, They're just waiting,

6:04 They're just in their own world doing nothing. Today, I want to

6:11 challenge each one of you on the sound of my voice. Let's make this

6:14 our commitment that we would start partnering with God. Say, God, this

6:19 is what you're placed in me. I know that you have a plan for

6:23 me. Lord, I don't want to just sit and wait for you to,

6:27 you know, make your plans come to pass. I want to do

6:31 what you want me to do, you know what I mean. Like you

6:35 may say, John, that sounds very contradictory, because I know only God

6:39 can do the impossible. You know, let's say take a simple example,

6:42 right, Yes, when you think about Abraham and Sarah, yes it was

6:46 a miracle and of God that they've eventually got Isaac. You know, when

6:50 God gave the words saying, but this time next year you will you know,

6:54 have a son, and it happened exactly as a Lord, I promise.

6:59 But yes, it was a miracle. Or even when you think about

7:03 Hannah getting a child, you know, at a time when it seemed impossible,

7:09 it was the hand of God. But when God gave that word,

7:15 they had to physically have that intercourse, you know what I mean. They

7:17 had to, like Abraham and Sarah and even Bettergard to Hannah, they had

7:25 to you know, act in that faith. You know what I mean.

7:28 That's what I'm trying to say. You can't just say I have faith and

7:30 then just go to sleep. No, you had to show that faith by

7:35 acting upon that faith. You know, Abraham didn't just say I have faith

7:41 and just sit. He acted in accordance to that faith. You know what

7:45 I mean. That's the place I'm challenging every one of us to go to.

7:48 Don't just say God will do and just sleep. Do what you are

7:53 supposed to do. Do your part and God will do his part. You

7:58 do what you can do, and God will do what only he can do.

8:01 And I'm sure that your life will be a great test of any Amen.
