1:03 Speaker 2: just want to pay attention to. Here's the thing, right,

1:06 Speaker 2: there's so many aspects we can learn from the life

1:08 Speaker 2: of Joseph, but here's the thing. I'm talking to you

1:10 Speaker 2: from Genesis twenty nine, where things were so unfair for him.

1:14 Speaker 2: You know, he was wrongly sold as a slave by

1:18 Speaker 2: his brothers who hated him. And now he's taken into

1:22 Speaker 2: a foreign land called Egypt and party for an Egyptian

1:26 Speaker 2: who was one of the pharaoh's officials takes him. But

1:29 Speaker 2: here's the thing. Even though everything seemed negative, negative, negative,

1:33 Speaker 2: But here's the thing. When you look at verse two,

1:35 Speaker 2: this is what it says. The Lord was with Joseph

1:38 Speaker 2: so that he prospered, and he lived in the house

1:41 Speaker 2: of his Egyptian master. When his master saw that the

1:44 Speaker 2: Lord was with him, and that the Lord gave him

1:47 Speaker 2: success in everything he did, Joseph found favor in his

1:50 Speaker 2: size and became his attendant. Here's the thing, right, it

1:55 Speaker 2: was so unfair, and many times we say, you know,

1:58 Speaker 2: if this issue is resolved, if this thing turned around

2:01 Speaker 2: for me, then I will experience God's favor, I will

2:03 Speaker 2: experience God's blessing on my life. I will walk in

2:07 Speaker 2: his you know, goodness and his mercy and all of

2:09 Speaker 2: these things we say. But here's the thing. It's so

2:11 Speaker 2: beautiful to see how the Bible says that even though

2:15 Speaker 2: he was in this unfair situation, even though he was

2:18 Speaker 2: in this thing that was beyond his control, even in

2:21 Speaker 2: the midst of the traum oil, even in the midst

2:24 Speaker 2: of this thing that was so bad. It is not

2:27 Speaker 2: something that you might wish upon even your worst enemy,

2:30 Speaker 2: to be betrayed by your own brothers or siblings and family.

2:34 Speaker 2: But here's the thing. It says that in the midst

2:36 Speaker 2: of that the Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered.

2:40 Speaker 2: I don't know who needs to hear this word that

2:42 Speaker 2: you know, just the fact that God was with him

2:45 Speaker 2: enabled him to prosper. Today, I want you to understand

2:48 Speaker 2: that you may be in the wilderness, you may be

2:51 Speaker 2: in a hard place in life, you may be in

2:53 Speaker 2: something that's so unfair and it's beyond your control. But

2:57 Speaker 2: the fact that God is with you, because he said

3:00 Speaker 2: I will never leave you know for sake you he said,

3:02 Speaker 2: I am a manual of the God with you. You

3:05 Speaker 2: need to understand today that when you accepted the finished

3:07 Speaker 2: work of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary, the Holy

3:10 Speaker 2: Spirit of God is dwelling in you and with you,

3:12 Speaker 2: and he goes with you no matter where you go.

3:15 Speaker 2: This is what the Bible is promising, that when the

3:18 Speaker 2: Lord is with you, you will prosper because the Lord

3:23 Speaker 2: is with you. Right, It's not because of who Joseph was.

3:27 Speaker 2: It was because the Lord was with Joseph. It was

3:30 Speaker 2: not because Joseph was talented, but it was because the

3:34 Speaker 2: Lord was with Joseph. It was not because Joseph had

3:37 Speaker 2: what it takes or he had something special. It was

3:40 Speaker 2: because the Lord was with Joseph. And it is not

3:43 Speaker 2: just because of where he was. Here's the thing I

3:47 Speaker 2: wanted to understand. Right, Sometimes we think if I'm in

3:50 Speaker 2: the right place, the right blessing will come. Sometimes you

3:52 Speaker 2: may be in a not so good place. But it's

3:55 Speaker 2: not about the place that you're in. It's about who

3:58 Speaker 2: you're connected with. Because you're connected with the King of

4:01 Speaker 2: Kings and the Lord of Loves who never runstry, and

4:04 Speaker 2: Almighty God, who is on your side, you will prosper

4:08 Speaker 2: in every area of your life. The Bible goes on

4:12 Speaker 2: to say that when his Master saw that the Lord

4:14 Speaker 2: was with him, this he the Master is seeing the

4:18 Speaker 2: Lord in Joseph because of the success, because of the prosperity.

4:25 Speaker 2: You know, this is the reason I don't want you

4:27 Speaker 2: to be against prosperity, because that is one of the

4:29 Speaker 2: ways a non believer, a non Christian is going to

4:33 Speaker 2: look at your life and say, you know what, this

4:35 Speaker 2: person is not just talking about some you know, like

4:38 Speaker 2: inner thing or something like that. This is visibly seen

4:42 Speaker 2: that this person is of some difference, like you know,

4:46 Speaker 2: something different about this person. Right. I'm not saying go

4:49 Speaker 2: after prosperity, but what I'm saying is sometimes God can

4:52 Speaker 2: even use that to make other people go, Wow, how

4:57 Speaker 2: did this happen for this person? You know what I mean?

5:00 Speaker 2: Sometimes people don't believe when you just say, oh, I

5:02 Speaker 2: have in a peace, I have joy. I mean, that's

5:05 Speaker 2: all great, but sometimes people really want to see some

5:08 Speaker 2: prosperity on the outside for them to actually believe, you know,

5:12 Speaker 2: that you actually belong to the Lord. And here is

5:15 Speaker 2: this thing. The prosperity enabled this Egyptian master to see

5:24 Speaker 2: that the Lord was with him, and he found favor

5:27 Speaker 2: in the heights of this master and became his attendant.

5:30 Speaker 2: And the Bible goes on to say Portifa put him

5:32 Speaker 2: in charge of his household, and he entrusted everything in

5:36 Speaker 2: his care because he knew that the Lord blessed everything

5:41 Speaker 2: in his house because of Joseph, And the Bible goes

5:45 Speaker 2: on to say, the blessing of the Lord was on

5:47 Speaker 2: everything Potifer had bought in the house and in the field.

5:50 Speaker 2: Everything connected to Potiphar was also getting blessed because of Joseph.

5:57 Speaker 2: Think about it, People who are not believers are going

6:01 Speaker 2: to come to know the Lord through your life because

6:05 Speaker 2: they will see the blessing in their life when they

6:07 Speaker 2: are connected with you today. I want you to understand

6:10 Speaker 2: this that instead of running away from blessing and prosperity

6:14 Speaker 2: and all of these things, you know, all of that

6:16 Speaker 2: needs to take with taken and the right perspective and

6:19 Speaker 2: the right you know, a thing, you know you can't

6:22 Speaker 2: hate on it at the same time, you can't only

6:24 Speaker 2: run to it alone, right, but in its own level,

6:28 Speaker 2: when you have the blessing of the Lord, when you

6:29 Speaker 2: have that prosperity, and you know, when people see that

6:33 Speaker 2: in and through your life, you will be a greatest

6:36 Speaker 2: channel of His blessing in and through your life. So

6:40 Speaker 2: that's what I want to challenge you from this life

6:43 Speaker 2: of Joseph that if God showed his blessing you know,

6:48 Speaker 2: and made a difference everywhere he went, God will do

6:52 Speaker 2: the same in your life as well. And men, God bless.
