0:53 Speaker 2: things that we can learn from this incident recorded in

0:56 Speaker 2: John chapter two when Jesus sterne walt it into wine.

0:59 Speaker 2: Today as well, I'm going to talk about another important

1:01 Speaker 2: aspect where we can learn this and inculcate this. And

1:06 Speaker 2: this might be a word of encouragement to you if

1:08 Speaker 2: you're going through a season of loss you're going through

1:10 Speaker 2: a season of setback, a season where things that you

1:14 Speaker 2: had is also gone and it's taken away from you,

1:17 Speaker 2: or you made a decision that you didn't think that

1:21 Speaker 2: you know what, this is how your life would be

1:24 Speaker 2: at this point of time. Maybe you lost a job,

1:26 Speaker 2: maybe your relationship that you were hoping would work out

1:29 Speaker 2: did not work out in the end, or maybe would

1:32 Speaker 2: to a client that you were working on and suddenly backtracked,

1:35 Speaker 2: and now you're left in square one and you're like,

1:38 Speaker 2: oh my goodness, John, I do not know what to do.

1:41 Speaker 2: I mean a season of especially right now with the

1:44 Speaker 2: war that's happening in the Middle East, and I just

1:46 Speaker 2: want to take a minute to say a what a

1:48 Speaker 2: prayer right now? Or those who are impacted by this war,

1:51 Speaker 2: whether they're impacted directly by the war, I want you

1:55 Speaker 2: to just say a what a prayer for them in

1:56 Speaker 2: the name of Jesus Christ, for those who are affected

1:59 Speaker 2: by it, those lost allowed ones in this process. We

2:03 Speaker 2: pray for peace in the region and also for also

2:06 Speaker 2: those who are indirectly impacted. One of the things that's

2:10 Speaker 2: happening is there's a oil crisis happening, or there's this

2:13 Speaker 2: crisis happening, like when even with gas and so many

2:18 Speaker 2: restaurants and businesses in the food industry because of oil,

2:22 Speaker 2: even the transportation industry, everything is taking ahead because of this.

2:26 Speaker 2: So that just reminds me of a moment where when

2:29 Speaker 2: sometimes you know, when the resources are affected, right, you know,

2:34 Speaker 2: it can just hit you really hard. And this is

2:37 Speaker 2: a moment in John chapter two where predominantly required resource

2:44 Speaker 2: that was wine right out. See, it's one thing for

2:48 Speaker 2: it to just like, oh my gosh, you know what,

2:50 Speaker 2: I think it's less, so let's use it scarstly. But

2:53 Speaker 2: it's another thing when they realize like, oh my goodness,

2:56 Speaker 2: we do not know whether we planned this well or

2:58 Speaker 2: not what happened. Maybe people rank too much, or maybe

3:01 Speaker 2: there was a lack of planning. That's another message altogether,

3:04 Speaker 2: but just the thing, whatever happened today. You may be saying, John,

3:06 Speaker 2: I do not know what happened, whether I should have

3:08 Speaker 2: done something to prevent this, or maybe I should have

3:11 Speaker 2: taken some steps. But here I am John, I lost.

3:14 Speaker 2: It is over. I do not know what to do.

3:16 Speaker 2: Maybe he taken a course or taken some steps that

3:19 Speaker 2: would have helped me to be better skilled. To you, know,

3:23 Speaker 2: tackle the next promotion, but now I lost my job,

3:26 Speaker 2: or maybe I thought, you know what, if I had

3:28 Speaker 2: taken that extra step towards this relationship and maybe bright

3:31 Speaker 2: and worked out, maybe you're in that place. But today

3:33 Speaker 2: I'm telling you, you know, instead of crying over the

3:35 Speaker 2: fact that you lost it, or instead of crying over

3:38 Speaker 2: the fact that this thing is over, I wanted to

3:40 Speaker 2: understand that the fact that the wine ran out is

3:43 Speaker 2: the only reason why Jesus stepped into the scene. And

3:47 Speaker 2: he didn't just make a new wine. The Bible says

3:49 Speaker 2: that the wine he made was better off than what

3:52 Speaker 2: was left, so to a point where when the Master

3:55 Speaker 2: of Cinnemony listened to it, he said, you know what,

3:58 Speaker 2: everybody keeps the best wine for the beginning and in

4:01 Speaker 2: the beginning, and then you know, brings in the less

4:03 Speaker 2: expensive wine later, but you have kept the best for

4:06 Speaker 2: the last. And he think about this, right. God brought

4:13 Speaker 2: better wine now, better than what was lost, better than

4:17 Speaker 2: what got over. God brought something better today. I want

4:21 Speaker 2: you to look at your lost resources or lost job,

4:25 Speaker 2: or lost relationship or lost client, whatever you lost in

4:28 Speaker 2: your life with the money or anything for the matter,

4:31 Speaker 2: what you lost instead of looking at it as a

4:33 Speaker 2: lost think of it. Maybe the loss is the platform

4:36 Speaker 2: which made the room for God to bring something new,

4:40 Speaker 2: something better, something long lasting, something that you're going to

4:43 Speaker 2: look back and say, look what the Lot has done today.

4:45 Speaker 2: I want you to have that perspective because you going

4:49 Speaker 2: through that loss. It is hard when you go through

4:51 Speaker 2: that lack of resources. It is hard season where you know,

4:55 Speaker 2: like the opposite Paul was saying, you know, we often

4:57 Speaker 2: caught I can do all things through Christ to strengthens

4:59 Speaker 2: me if you see the capacities saying, you know what,

5:02 Speaker 2: I've been through seasons where I had a lot, been

5:05 Speaker 2: through seasons when I lacked, I didn't have enough. But yes,

5:08 Speaker 2: the thing, that's the whole point. You go through seasons

5:10 Speaker 2: where you don't have enough. The resources are depleting. You

5:13 Speaker 2: feel like things are not working out. You feel like

5:15 Speaker 2: you're in a dry season, a dry patch. Just doors

5:18 Speaker 2: are not opening, everything is being shut. People are walking

5:21 Speaker 2: out of your life, and things are just not looking

5:23 Speaker 2: good in your life. But I want you to understand

5:25 Speaker 2: that when you're in a season where nothing is working,

5:28 Speaker 2: that you are in a tremendous loss and you have

5:31 Speaker 2: lost everything. The only thing that you taught to You

5:33 Speaker 2: could have prevented it from going through the season, maybe

5:36 Speaker 2: by better planning or whatever. But whatever happened happened. But

5:39 Speaker 2: today I want to give you this word of encouragement.

5:41 Speaker 2: No matter what it has been, God is making no

5:47 Speaker 2: matter what it has been, God is able to use

5:51 Speaker 2: this empty room or the empty jars to bring in

5:56 Speaker 2: something new in your life. I want you to believe that.

6:00 Speaker 2: I want you to trust Him because He is able

6:03 Speaker 2: to do exceeding inabundantly, far and beyond whatever you can ask,

6:06 Speaker 2: think or even imagine. So today, so of looking at

6:09 Speaker 2: a loss as a loss, look at it as a

6:11 Speaker 2: platform for God to bring something new into your life. Amen,
