0:51 Speaker 2: couple of days, we've been talking about the importance of

0:53 Speaker 2: involving the Holy Spirit in everyday life because you and

0:56 Speaker 2: I are not here just to figure things out on

0:58 Speaker 2: our own, and we cannot live a victorious life by ourselves.

1:02 Speaker 2: And today, one of the things I want to tell

1:04 Speaker 2: you is sometimes we say, you know what, just pray,

1:06 Speaker 2: just interced just do this for the Lord and all

1:10 Speaker 2: of those things, and sometimes what happens is it ends

1:13 Speaker 2: up becoming mechanical. It ends up becoming just our own

1:17 Speaker 2: dialogue where it's all about you know, whatever we've been thought,

1:20 Speaker 2: this is how you need to pray. You start with,

1:23 Speaker 2: you know, saying oh God or Heavenly Father, or I

1:27 Speaker 2: mean Jesus taught us how to pray, and then ending

1:30 Speaker 2: saying in Jesus name and all of that. I mean,

1:32 Speaker 2: sometimes we look at all of those nittigrity or looking

1:35 Speaker 2: at all of the protocol or the rupine, the things

1:38 Speaker 2: like for example, we say, you know what, pray before

1:40 Speaker 2: you go to bed, or pray when you wake up,

1:43 Speaker 2: or pray before you have a meal. And sometimes we

1:46 Speaker 2: say things which are just mere words without even realizing

1:49 Speaker 2: the reality of it, you know what I mean? And

1:52 Speaker 2: today I want to tell you something right, you know, yes,

1:54 Speaker 2: it's all prayer is ultimately just communicating with the Lord,

1:57 Speaker 2: where you take time to speak to him, you want

2:00 Speaker 2: to take time to hear him speak to you. There's

2:02 Speaker 2: so many things that we can learn about prayer, but

2:05 Speaker 2: today I want to emphasize on the impotance of involving

2:08 Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit even in your prayer. Right, Sometimes we

2:12 Speaker 2: end up doing this like oh, I'm want to pray,

2:14 Speaker 2: just say you know what, I'm going to pray for

2:15 Speaker 2: the next five hours, I'm going to pray for the

2:17 Speaker 2: next ten minutes or whatever. And then we just say, oh,

2:19 Speaker 2: I'm going to fast and pray. It ends up becoming ritualistic.

2:23 Speaker 2: It ends up becoming just about the words we use.

2:26 Speaker 2: It's about our eloquence of the choice of words in

2:31 Speaker 2: all of those things. But to be honest, real prayer

2:34 Speaker 2: is actually in a place where we can pray in

2:37 Speaker 2: accordance to the will of God. The Bible says, when

2:39 Speaker 2: we pray in accordance to his will, he hears us,

2:42 Speaker 2: and man he hears us, we have the assurance that

2:45 Speaker 2: He will answer us. And one of the things I

2:47 Speaker 2: wanted to remind you is the Scripture says in Ephesians

2:50 Speaker 2: six eighteen and in Jude one, verse twenty, that you

2:53 Speaker 2: need to build yourselves up by praying in the Holy Spirit.

2:59 Speaker 2: If you see in efficiency eighteen, it says praying in

3:01 Speaker 2: the spirit at all times, not sometimes, but all times,

3:05 Speaker 2: praying in the spirit always. And understand something here, there's

3:08 Speaker 2: something about involving the Holy Spirit and pray. You know,

3:13 Speaker 2: I remember back in the day I used to pray

3:16 Speaker 2: for you know, like even for us by us straight

3:19 Speaker 2: and that was praying, I mean interceding. That's that's what

3:23 Speaker 2: I knew. But there was a time I remember I said,

3:26 Speaker 2: Holy Spirit, I do not know how to pray, and

3:29 Speaker 2: teach me to pray. I studied involving the Holy Spirit

3:32 Speaker 2: in my prayer life. I started asking him, you leave

3:35 Speaker 2: me in pray, and I'm telling you, my prayer life

3:38 Speaker 2: just went to another level. Ever since then, it's become

3:41 Speaker 2: another level, like when the law just leads me to

3:45 Speaker 2: pray or prompts me to pray. Even today's sermon, for instance,

3:48 Speaker 2: it's not something like, okay, you know what, I'm going

3:50 Speaker 2: to be like, God, please please, I want to know

3:53 Speaker 2: what do I preach today? What do I minister today?

3:56 Speaker 1: You know what?

3:57 Speaker 2: I have come to a place where even in the

4:00 Speaker 2: it's of a bus schedule. Just to give you context, right,

4:03 Speaker 2: I'm going to I work in a full time corporate

4:05 Speaker 2: job and I'm running the ministry. And on top of that,

4:08 Speaker 2: this week has been super difficult or harder for me

4:12 Speaker 2: because one of my close family members I don't want

4:17 Speaker 2: to mention details on the public note right now, one

4:20 Speaker 2: of my close family members is at the hospital, you know,

4:24 Speaker 2: and there's a lot going on. I mean emotionally, mentally, physically.

4:28 Speaker 2: It's a draining pace and I don't have the bandwidth

4:32 Speaker 2: to you know, like, oh god, you know what. I'm

4:34 Speaker 2: not in the mental space to literally go out and

4:37 Speaker 2: you know, like prepare and plan, give out a polished

4:40 Speaker 2: message right on an everyday note. I'm recording these podcasts, right,

4:44 Speaker 2: but can a thlee It is something, you know, as

4:47 Speaker 2: in the midst of all of that, I keep speaking

4:49 Speaker 2: in tounts, I keep praying in the spirit, I keep

4:51 Speaker 2: involving the Lord. I keep being aware of his presence,

4:54 Speaker 2: and I keep talking with him. What happens is, you know,

4:57 Speaker 2: like I don't trying to bring this message. I don't

5:01 Speaker 2: sit in practice. What do I preach about? I just like, Lord,

5:06 Speaker 2: you lead me, You give me the right word at

5:08 Speaker 2: the right time. And of course there are seasons I

5:11 Speaker 2: was able to spend more time, and then the revelations

5:15 Speaker 2: were powerful. Today's sermon may not necessarily be something new

5:19 Speaker 2: as a revelation point of view, but the Lord gave

5:22 Speaker 2: me the word and I need it for today to

5:24 Speaker 2: share with you. Guys. See, that is what I want

5:26 Speaker 2: you to understand. Right, You are in a place where

5:30 Speaker 2: you're so synced with the Lord. God will speak to

5:32 Speaker 2: you anytime anyhow. You know, it's not like every time

5:35 Speaker 2: you need to spend four us for a message. You know,

5:38 Speaker 2: the Lord understands your situation. You're always in the spirit.

5:42 Speaker 2: You're praying in the spirit, you're walking in the spirit,

5:44 Speaker 2: you're you know, you're connected with the Spirit. What happens

5:48 Speaker 2: is that he will lead you with the right word

5:50 Speaker 2: at the right time. You know, I didn't strive for

5:53 Speaker 2: this message today. I was like, Lord, I'm having like

5:57 Speaker 2: loads of things. I'm spending time in your presence. I

6:00 Speaker 2: need to be my best in my work, I need

6:02 Speaker 2: to be my best with my family. I need to

6:04 Speaker 2: do all of these things as duties. But help me, God,

6:09 Speaker 2: and the Lord just leads me. Like even now as

6:12 Speaker 2: I'm recording this, it's like, God, this is the time

6:15 Speaker 2: I have. I need to get this done. Help me,

6:17 Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit lead me. You know, when you have

6:20 Speaker 2: that heart, the Lord knows how to speak to you,

6:23 Speaker 2: lead you, guide you, and he will put the right

6:25 Speaker 2: word in your mouth. He will lead you through the

6:27 Speaker 2: right and the best part for your life. So today

6:31 Speaker 2: this is my challenge that you will make it a

6:34 Speaker 2: commitment to pray in the Spirit at all times. Maybe

6:37 Speaker 2: I'll teach more on how to pray the Spirit. You

6:39 Speaker 2: know there are different ways that you can look at,

6:41 Speaker 2: but today just make it your heart and commitment to

6:44 Speaker 2: pray in the Spirit at all times, to be connected

6:47 Speaker 2: with the Holy Spirit and involve the Holy Spirit in

6:49 Speaker 2: your prayer life, and your life will never be the

6:51 Speaker 2: same for the better. Amen, God bless you.
