0:53 talk about the aspect of being faithful, when we often say you know,

0:57 you need to be faithful whenever God has placed you in the season God has

1:00 placed you, and say, you know, if you're doing your course in

1:03 your school, in your college, you need to be faithful in that,

1:06 going the extra mile, work really hard, and all of those things.

1:08 Or even if God has assigned you to be in a job, be faithful

1:12 in that workplace, even if that's not what you want to do, even

1:15 if that's not your ultimate call. Be faithful wherever God has placed you.

1:19 Be faithful even if you start your ministry or a YouTube channel or a podcast,

1:23 or wherever God has placed you, be faithful in that, even if

1:27 you're part of this church ministry, be faithful in every single aspect. Because

1:33 one of the corners Stone scriptures that we often quote is from the New Testament

1:37 where it says, you know where you know, if you can't be faithful

1:40 in the little, you know God can't entrust you with more, So be

1:42 faithful in the little so that you can trust you with more. But that's

1:46 true, yes, you know, that's that's something that you need to look

1:49 at because if you really need to move forward, if you really need to

1:52 now progress in your life, you need to be faithful. There's no doubt

1:55 about it. But sometimes people can get into a place of complacency and say,

2:00 oh, you know what, it's okay, I don't need anything more.

2:01 I'm just going to survive through life. I'm just going to make it

2:04 through life, so it's okay if I'm not faithful. Well, I want

2:07 to share a scripturevide and I want to take this forward and it's found in

2:10 First Chronicles, chapter ten, verse thirteen, and this is what it says,

2:15 and I'm reading to you from the n LT version and it says,

2:19 so, Saul died because he was unfaithful to the Lord. Saul died because

2:25 he was unfaithful to the Lord. And the scripture goes on to talk about

2:30 Saul and it says in the next couple of lines, he failed to obey

2:35 the Lord's command and he even consulted a medium instead of asking the Lord for

2:39 guidance. So yeah, there's two parts to it. It talks about how

2:45 he did not obey the Lord, and he also went into the negative aspects

2:52 like evil, total evil, like you know, going after you know,

2:57 a medium for asking for guidance and so of asking the Lord. So that's

3:00 another message altogether. I don't want to focus on that in this message,

3:04 but the first thing it says is that the reason he died was because he

3:07 was unfaithful to the Lord. You see, guys, there's so much of

3:12 seriousness involved when it comes to being unfaithful to the Lord, unfaithful to what

3:16 God has asked you to do, unfaithful to what God has assigned you for.

3:21 You have to understand it's not something you can just like, you know

3:23 what, it's okay if I'm not that faithful. You know, God has

3:27 blessed me. You know, you have to understand you can never be invincible.

3:31 You should never think that you know what I have the call of God.

3:35 This is something the Lord was reminding me. And you know when I

3:38 was reading through in the scripture, Yes, Saul was already anointed to become

3:42 king. He was the first king in history to become the king of Israel.

3:46 He was. He was already a history maker. He was. He

3:49 was somebody you know, anointed, and he was prophesying, and you know

3:53 he was into the supernatural aspects of God. If you see in the beginning

3:57 stages, he was somebody who was you know, chosen. But you see

4:00 how much somebody can go away from the Lord, they can be unfaithful to

4:04 what God has called them to be. Today, I'm asking you this question

4:08 today. You know, yes, you started off on a good note,

4:11 but are you still walking on a good note? Are you still in a

4:14 place where you need to introspect yourself and see whether you're walking in accordance to

4:17 the will of God, the standard of God? Are you faithful to what

4:20 God has called you to be? Check yourself, guys, one of the

4:26 things I often do myself. Is this? You know? Even this morning

4:29 as the Lord was speaking to me, and I thought, you know what,

4:30 this is a word and I need to introspect God. Am I faithful

4:33 in my work? Am I faithful in my ministry? Am I faithful in

4:38 everything I do? Am I faithful to you? Am I just doing this

4:41 on my own accord? Or am I depending on you? Am I being

4:44 faithful to what you have called me to be? Or am I being like

4:46 a Saul who ran away God distracted? Lost focus? He was going hitherto

4:51 the I know, instead of taking care of the people of God that he

4:57 was assigned to. He he was the king, so the under him where

5:00 somebody that God had entrusted him with, he had to be faithful to their

5:03 needs. But he was putting everybody's life is danger because he was getting only

5:09 about himself. Where he was like, oh my gosh, my determination is

5:13 to just get rid of David. He lost focus and is jealous. He

5:16 got the better of him. And what happened. He goes off track and

5:20 he puts Anti kingdom in jeopardy because he was unfaithful. Think about it,

5:27 guys, think about it. Even in my ministry. I keep asking the

5:31 Lord Lord, I want you to direct my steps. I want you to

5:34 help me to be faithful and whenever you place me, even if I don't

5:39 care how many people are watching, how many people are listening, how many

5:43 people check out my content, that's up to me. That's not up to

5:46 me at this point, even if it is a single person or if it's

5:49 millions of people. I want to make sure that this is my standard,

5:54 that I'm faithful in that little not because I want more. That that's another

5:59 thing. You know, when you're faithful in the little God will entrust you

6:01 with more. That's another thing altogether. But I want to be faithful so

6:04 that you know what I don't lose what I already have because of my unfaithfulness.

6:11 Like Saul dead, Saul was already a history maker, but instead of

6:17 focusing on his calling, instead of being faithful to his assignment, he was

6:24 going off track, and the Bible says that it led him to his death.

6:30 Today, I want you guys to understand it. There is a seriousness

6:33 when it comes to being unfaithful. It's not something to be joked about or

6:39 taken lightly. And the Word of God is very clear wherever God has placed

6:43 you, whether in your school, your workplace, in your church, in

6:46 any ministry, in your community, in your neighborhood, in your family,

6:50 are you faithful? Are you faithful? Are you carrying out each role that

6:56 God has placed in you, every person and that's under you, every person

7:01 whom you're acquainted with, in every assignment that God has given you? Are

7:06 you being faithful? Last, but not least? I just want to reinforce

7:11 and remind you. Sometimes as Christians, we can say, you know what,

7:14 I'm faithful in the ministry's thinks of God, and then lack that level

7:19 of faithfulness when it comes to their work heathaches, or you know, their

7:27 course, their school, their college. See, I understand God should take

7:30 your number one priority. But God is the one who entrusted you with your

7:34 work. He's the one who entrusted you with your friends in school. And

7:41 you are to shine your light in the darkness. And so today I'm asking

7:45 you, are you being faithful in everything that God has placed you? Are

7:50 you faithful in your work, going the extra mile, being a person of

7:55 integrity, being faithful even if nobody's watching. Are you faithful in your style,

8:01 even if nobody is there to want to tell you? Are you still

8:03 being faithful? Think about it, and I pray in the name of Jesus

8:11 that you will understand the seediousness of being unfaithful and you will strive to be

8:16 like Jesus and be faithful. Amen, God bless you. You've been listening
