0:58 was talking to you about the fact that you have a favor that sets you

1:00 apart, and I was sharing from the Life of Ester. I've encouraged you

1:04 to check that out because that will really help you understand that you're not just

1:08 among the crowd. You have a favor that sets you apart, and that

1:12 favor will not only set you apart in the positive tone, like in the

1:17 story of Esther where from a huge crowd, she found that favor that set

1:22 apart and she was chosen and thinks like that. But there's also the element

1:26 of favor when you look at the story of Joseph and you look at the

1:29 story of David, where they were set apart from their brothers and they were

1:33 not part of the crowd, and that was also part of favor. Favor

1:37 not only sets you apart for something goodly in the sense that, Wow,

1:42 you're chosen among the crowd. The favor also sets you apart in the fact

1:46 that you're disconnected from the wrong people. Okay, But at the same time,

1:52 I want to tell you something. When we look at this aspect of

1:53 favor, we think that wow, esther got to the palace, she became

1:57 a queen, and Wow's favor. But there is an aspect you need to

2:02 understand that many people think, okay, favor the promotion, the blessings,

2:08 the elevation, and whatsoever thing that is connected to it. Your dreams,

2:15 your desires and all of those things. They're not just for you. You

2:20 have to remember that the reason ultimately is for you to use that position for

2:25 the extension of God's kingdom. Use your possessions for the extension of God's kingdom,

2:32 Use your position for the extension of God's Kingdom, use your influence for

2:38 the extension of God's kingdom. Everything that God has given you is not for

2:42 you, just for you. You have to remember that it's not just for

2:46 you. Just let that it's not like Esther went to the palace and a

2:51 life for settled for life, and that's what we want to do. I

2:53 want to get to a place where I have all the money in the world,

2:57 where I can build mansions and you know, travel around and you know,

3:00 I'm not against having money. I'm not against you being rich because I

3:05 believe that that's good. You're able to have money and you're able to enjoy

3:08 through that process, You're able to reach the loss for the glory of God.

3:12 I love that. But you have to remember in that process, don't

3:15 forget your ultimate reason why God blesses you, so that you can be a

3:20 greater blessing. When God blesses you, do not forget the fact that you

3:23 also have the responsibility to be a blessing to other people. God give blessing

3:30 me in finance doesn't mean that just me loading myself and money. I should

3:37 keep that money to the place of you know, giving into the kingdom of

3:40 God. I need to get to the place where I need to invest in

3:44 the Kingdom of God, to take care of the poor, or you know,

3:46 to build other churches and ministries and things like that. That should be

3:52 your goal. When Esther became the queen, there was a moment when the

3:59 impact Kingdom, all the Jews were in trouble. They were about to be

4:03 killed. And Esther was scared to take a step at that point. And

4:09 she was reminded and said, maybe God brought you here for such a time

4:15 as this. This is your moment to take action. This is why God

4:20 brought you. This is your purpose, Esther. God didn't bring you here

4:27 just for you to sit on the throne, just for you to say I'm

4:30 the Queen. God brought you here to use your influence for the extension of

4:35 His kingdom, to save his people. God doesn't just bless you with that

4:40 promotion that you've been praying for so that you can get more money and how

4:44 tied up with more work towards your organization that you don't have time for God,

4:48 you don't have time for or you don't have the heart to give towards

4:53 the kingdom purposes. I'm sorry, there's a problem. The favor upon your

4:58 life if you're running after it is only for yourself. Then there's a problem.

5:02 You should get to a place where your heart should be in the right

5:05 place. That your favor upon your life, the blessings upon your life,

5:11 your positions, your possessions and influence is all supposed to finally lead to a

5:17 place. You use it for the extension of His kingdom. You use it

5:23 for the glory of God. You use it to save souls for the glory

5:28 of God. Think about it. Think about it. Hester didn't reach the

5:35 throne to sit there. You know, I obvious say this, Joseph or

5:40 David. Everybody's life. I want to go to the palace. I want

5:43 to go to the throne. They didn't sit there and be on a vacation.

5:46 They went there to serve people. Joseph for serving people. David was

5:53 serving the kingdom. The problem today is a lot of people are after the

5:59 blessing for them selves, and that's why he thinks are going down the drain.

6:04 God blesses you so that you can be a greater blessing. That is

6:08 kingdom mindset. If you're running after blessings only for yourself, that's prosperity gospel,

6:13 and I'm against that. I'm praying God blesses me with money, but

6:17 that's not for me. I would use it for me for my purposes,

6:24 but ultimately to survive. God does not expect you like for example, if

6:30 for example, I mean just example, I mean God, I work and

6:34 I'm running the ministry. Right. Here's the thing. When the podcast started

6:38 growing up to chart, I had to purchase a high quality microphone that involved

6:44 money. I can't have a top ranking podcast and the record with a very

6:48 bad quality audio, practical thing. And when I go out to minister,

6:56 when people are like, okay, fine, this is a top ranking podcast,

6:58 best selling author. I can't go there wearing bad clothes. I need

7:02 to live up to the standard of that. Are you don't know what I'm

7:05 saying that that is the place, but ultimately it's all for the glory of

7:11 God. That's how it should be. If I'm taking all the money and

7:15 just putting in my bank, just using it for myself, that's what a

7:17 lot of people are doing, just going around doing wasting their money. There's

7:21 the problem. You need to be in a place where today are you giving

7:27 to the Kingdom of God? Are you? Some people are like, oh

7:30 no, I want blessing blessing, blessing, or I want promotion from Okay,

7:33 you get that promotion. Now you're tied up with that work. You

7:36 don't have time for anything related to God, anything for the Kingdom of God.

7:42 You don't have time. Is that the lifeguard wants for you to do?

7:46 Did God take est to the throne just for her to sit on the

7:48 throne. No, God has a purpose for you. That's why I always

7:56 say I mean I work, and I always say this, My work is

8:00 just to substantiate or for me to get the you know, like right now,

8:03 I need the funding I need, I need finance. But that is

8:09 not my core. It's it's my purpose is my skeleton from which everything else

8:15 fits in my work, my ministry, my life choices everything. That's how

8:22 it should be. Right. So get to that place where you're saying,

8:28 you know what, everything that God has given me, I want to use

8:33 it for the extension of his kingdom. I want to use it for building

8:37 his kingdom. That is kingdom mindset. That is what should be your mindset.

8:45 Where like Esther, you know that that's what differentiates us, like a

8:48 reminding you again, that's what differentiates us from people who are just going after

8:52 prosperity and people who know that you need money and you need these possitions.

9:00 You need these things so that you can use it for the extension of God's

9:05 kingdom. That is where you need to go your influence. Your position is

9:13 not for yourself. It is to use it for the glory of God.
