0:53 first couple of episodes, I've been talking about the various aspects on finding coats

0:57 for our life, and today I'm going to talk about one important aspect that

1:00 many of us tend to neglect, and that is the aspect of getting God's

1:06 wisdom right. Yesterday I told you about the aspect of you know, if

1:11 something is in the world that is more than enough for you to understand that,

1:15 yes, okay, there's no second thought about it. If the Bible

1:18 says thou should not murder or thou shalt not hate, I shall not do

1:23 that right, so there's no second thought about it. But on a similar

1:27 note today, if we're going to talk about the second aspect, that is

1:30 the aspect of wisdom. Now, I want to be very open with you

1:34 because I made the mistake in the regard right if something is written in the

1:40 word of God, or if I'm led by the spirit of God, I

1:42 would just close my mind and never operate from the realm of wisdom. And

1:49 I made mistakes. I made poor choices. And then I learned my lesson

1:53 right because I'm the kind of person who just goes out of my way to

1:57 help people in rest in people, because that's my nature. And then I

2:04 went into a lot of pain and heartache and things like that, and I

2:07 was like, oh, makness, why did this person cheat me? After

2:09 all the investments? This is how I get from people. And that's when

2:13 I realize, you know what, it's not enough for you to just,

2:16 you know, okay, take certain things from the scripture from a superficial level,

2:21 or you know, just say, you know what, this is what

2:23 I feel, and I think this is the only spirit and let's go by

2:25 that. There is a place for wisdom as well. That's what I want

2:30 you to understand. If you see, for example, the Bible says in

2:36 Proverbs chapter four, verse six and seven, and I'm reading from the NIV

2:40 version, it says, do not forsake wisdom, for she will protect you.

2:45 Love her, and she will watch over you. Wisdom is supreme.

2:47 That forget wisdom, though it costs all you have, get understanding. Do

2:54 not forsake wisdom. That's what the Bible says, for she will protect you.

3:05 Get wisdom, get understanding. This is not what John Gift is saying.

3:08 This is the word of the Living God saying, get wisdom, for

3:13 she will protect you. Get wisdom, for she will watch over you.

3:17 Wisdom is supreme. In fact, if you see the Book of First King's

3:30 chapter three talks about the time when the Lord appears to King Solomon and ask

3:36 him what do you want? I will give whatever you want. And Solomon

3:39 is saying, God, I pray that you will give me a discerning heart

3:44 and a wisdom to distinguish between right and wrong. And the Lord is so

3:51 pleased with Solomon for asking this, and he says, you didn't ask for

3:55 riches, you didn't ask for long life, You ask for wisdom. And

3:59 so I'm going to give you what you didn't ask for as well. I'm

4:01 going to give you wisdom, and I'm also going to give you riches and

4:04 long life. I want you to understand something here. There's something about wisdom,

4:10 because God is going to be excited when you're asking for wisdom, because

4:14 today a lot of people are just asking for God. I want the output.

4:17 I want the right decision to be made. I want the right miracle

4:21 to go somehow come into my life, the breakthrough to happen, and things

4:26 like that. I want to see success and all these things that people always

4:29 want to say. But it all comes down to you know, if you

4:31 would only ask God for wisdom, he would give you the wisdom that will

4:35 give you the right ideas, the right strategy, is, the right thought

4:39 process, the right attitude, the right way to say something, and things

4:43 like that, and things can actually make a big difference in your life if

4:46 you would only not neglect the aspect of wisdom. Amen, think about it.

4:56 But John, I don't know. I never thought about wisdom. So

4:59 what do I do? I want wisdom from God? Well, again,

5:02 go back to the scripture. James One was by a very familiar scripture and

5:06 I just want to share this with you. If any of your lack's wisdom,

5:11 you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault,

5:15 and it will be given to you. God is saying, if you lack

5:20 wisdom, ask and I will give it generously to all, without finding any

5:26 fault. Then it will be given to you. I want you to understand

5:30 your sains of God. Today I asked the Lord for wisdom. I want

5:33 you to understand this is exactly what I started doing ever since I realized that

5:39 I had made a mistake in neglecting the aspect of wisdom. I said,

5:42 God, you know what, Yes, there is a place for you know,

5:45 going by the words. There's a place for being led by the spirit.

5:47 But there is also a place for wisdom. There is a place for

5:54 wisdom. And today if you never thought about the aspect of wisdom, or

5:59 you saying, John, I need more wisdom, well get back to the

6:01 scripture. God is saying, you know what, ask and I will give

6:05 it to you. Ask and you shall receive. Ask and God is not

6:14 just going to give you a little. The Bible says that He's going to

6:16 give generously to all without finding any fault. I want you to do that.

6:25 Today, Lord, I pray for every single person who's listening under the

6:29 sound of my voice and who are saying, John, I want more wisdom

6:32 from the Lord or I never thought about the aspect of wisdom. Today,

6:35 I pray, and I pray, and I pray, and I pray and

6:39 release the wisdom of God over them in the name of Jesus Christ. And

6:43 I pray for all of us that we will be filled with God's wisdom,

6:46 that the wisdom of God will guide us, and we will see that the

6:50 wisdom of God will help us make the right decisions that will put us in

6:56 us different spot altogether. The wisdom of God will give us ideas and will

7:00 give us strategies that nobody else thought about. Let the wisdom make us different,

7:06 so that through that decision that we make with the help of God's wisdom,

7:10 we will make an impact for the Kingdom of God. And I at
