0:53 Speaker 2: regard to knowing God has a heavenly Father. See a

0:56 Speaker 2: lot of times we lived life from a perspective where

1:00 Speaker 2: we think like, oh my goodness, I need to figure

1:02 Speaker 2: this out. I need to make this happen. I need

1:04 Speaker 2: to just work hard and succeed and see, maybe you

1:08 Speaker 2: have a good heart where you say you know, yes,

1:09 Speaker 2: I go to church, I read the Bible, I pray

1:11 Speaker 2: I have a relationship with God to an extent, but

1:14 Speaker 2: I need to do my part of working things out.

1:16 Speaker 2: I need to figure things out. But I want to

1:18 Speaker 2: share something very important with you. See, there is this

1:20 Speaker 2: thin line of balance where yes, we can't just be

1:23 Speaker 2: lazing around being complacent and expect God to do everything

1:28 Speaker 2: and we just sit and sleep and expect God to

1:30 Speaker 2: do a miracle. And yes, we need to partner with God.

1:33 Speaker 2: And that's where the key is. That's another sermon altogether

1:36 Speaker 2: about healing to the Holy Spirit and doing what God

1:39 Speaker 2: has called us to do. But what I want you

1:41 Speaker 2: to understand is sometimes people have the relationship with God.

1:45 Speaker 2: They pray, they read the Word, and they go to

1:47 Speaker 2: church and all of those things. But beyond that, what

1:49 Speaker 2: happens is they think that it's all about them trying

1:52 Speaker 2: to make it through life. It's like, Oh, I need

1:54 Speaker 2: to keep the job, I need to get a job,

1:56 Speaker 2: I need to get married, I need to do this,

1:58 Speaker 2: I need to do this. It's it's like they're always

2:01 Speaker 2: operating in that pressure mode of accomplishing, or it's in

2:05 Speaker 2: the pressure mode of striving. It's in a pressure mode

2:08 Speaker 2: of like, oh I need to do this, I need

2:10 Speaker 2: to do that. But I want to share something very

2:12 Speaker 2: important with you, that you're another one driving your life

2:16 Speaker 2: like the way a lot of people think that. How

2:18 Speaker 2: for example, if you see little orphans, right, it's really

2:22 Speaker 2: sad to see underprivileged children and they've lost their families,

2:27 Speaker 2: they've lost their loud ones, they've lost their parents, and

2:32 Speaker 2: they're in a very despicable situation. Sometimes they don't have

2:36 Speaker 2: like a father figure in their life. Sometimes and many

2:40 Speaker 2: people today are living their life thinking that they're just

2:43 Speaker 2: an Often through life. Maybe they have their early father,

2:47 Speaker 2: but in a spiritual sense, they still don't understand that

2:50 Speaker 2: their heavenly Father is the father figure with them. They're

2:54 Speaker 2: not having that relationship with God or the understanding of

2:57 Speaker 2: God saying you know what, see like how my earthly

3:00 Speaker 2: father being with me gives me that confidence that, yes,

3:03 Speaker 2: you know what, my dad will take care of this,

3:05 Speaker 2: My dad will do this for me, my dad will

3:07 Speaker 2: support me and stand by me. You know that kind

3:09 Speaker 2: of an understanding many people are lacking with regard to

3:14 Speaker 2: their relationship with God as a father. That's where I'm

3:17 Speaker 2: trying to tell you. I still remember a moment where

3:20 Speaker 2: when I was learning to drive, I used to be

3:23 Speaker 2: so scared, and I'll be so cautious and conscious, like,

3:26 Speaker 2: oh my goodness, I should not make the mistake, I

3:28 Speaker 2: should not hit something. I would drive so carefully. And

3:32 Speaker 2: there was one particular instant where I'm driving and my

3:36 Speaker 2: Dad was following behind me in another car. So this

3:40 Speaker 2: time I don't know from where the boldness came. Hidris

3:43 Speaker 2: drove like I was ruling the world, you know what

3:46 Speaker 2: I mean. I drove without any fear. I didn't have

3:48 Speaker 2: any problem. Everything went well. I was just cautiously driving

3:53 Speaker 2: and peacefully driving with no fear at all. And then

3:55 Speaker 2: I realized, See the minute I know that my earthly

3:59 Speaker 2: day is just behind me, and I know that if

4:03 Speaker 2: anything goes wrong, He's there to take care of everything.

4:07 Speaker 2: I was at a place of peace. I didn't have

4:09 Speaker 2: to worry. I didn't have that fear of what if

4:13 Speaker 2: something goes wrong or how will I handle I didn't

4:15 Speaker 2: have anything because I knew my earthly Daddy was there. See,

4:19 Speaker 2: if you can be the place of rest, if you

4:21 Speaker 2: can be at the place of peace, if you can

4:23 Speaker 2: be at the place of security knowing that your earthly

4:26 Speaker 2: dad is with you, how much more you and I

4:29 Speaker 2: can be at the place of peace through life, and

4:32 Speaker 2: you can walk in that assurance and from a place

4:35 Speaker 2: of just rest and trust and joy, knowing that your

4:40 Speaker 2: eavenly daddy is backing you. Your evenly daddy is saying,

4:43 Speaker 2: you know what, you don't have to worry. You're not

4:47 Speaker 2: figuring life on your own. I am with you. I'm

4:50 Speaker 2: going to be with you. See when you look at

4:52 Speaker 2: the scripture, saints in Romans say at sixteen, the Spirit

4:55 Speaker 2: himself best witness with our spirit that we are children

4:59 Speaker 2: of God. See today, I want you to understand that

5:03 Speaker 2: when you give your left to Christ, the Holy Spirit

5:06 Speaker 2: came in you, and his spirit and your spirit the

5:09 Speaker 2: bear witness to the fact that we are children of

5:12 Speaker 2: the most hygard. And if you see my previous segment,

5:16 Speaker 2: I was sharing that when we understand God as a father,

5:19 Speaker 2: he's not just like a distant figure of God that

5:21 Speaker 2: we get so scared to even approach him, but rather

5:25 Speaker 2: he's like our daddy. He's like, hey, just talk to me. Hey,

5:29 Speaker 2: I'm just a call away. I'm there for you. See.

5:33 Speaker 2: One of the things I was thinking about the incident

5:35 Speaker 2: in Luke fifteen regarding the prodigal son. See, when you

5:39 Speaker 2: think about this. One of the things that caught my

5:41 Speaker 2: attention was this that at one point the prodigal son

5:44 Speaker 2: comes to senses and then he's like, okay, let me

5:48 Speaker 2: go back to my father and say let me at

5:50 Speaker 2: least be one of the servants. Right, here's the thing.

5:54 Speaker 2: He's eating the food that was meant for the orgs

5:58 Speaker 2: and is realizing that his life is in a very

6:01 Speaker 2: messy situation. And then he realizes that the only way

6:05 Speaker 2: forward would be to at least go back to his

6:06 Speaker 2: father's house. But here's the thing I wanted to understand.

6:09 Speaker 2: The son forgot who he was, but the father never

6:13 Speaker 2: forgot who he was. See, sometimes you might have gone astray.

6:17 Speaker 2: You may not have understood who your heavenly father is.

6:20 Speaker 2: Maybe you never understood or had that revelation of God

6:24 Speaker 2: as your daddy. Maybe you never walked in that kind

6:28 Speaker 2: of an understanding or revelation. But today can be that

6:31 Speaker 2: day where, just like that prodigal son, you can make

6:34 Speaker 2: that shift. Maybe we think of prodigal son as somebody

6:37 Speaker 2: who sinned and went away from God and then coming

6:40 Speaker 2: back to his father. That's another idea or a perspective.

6:44 Speaker 2: But today maybe the perspective for you is just that

6:48 Speaker 2: you know and in your mind you had a different

6:50 Speaker 2: view of God, and today you coming back to your

6:53 Speaker 2: senses is more like understanding God as your father. And

6:58 Speaker 2: even when he ran away from home, when he went

7:01 Speaker 2: and lived a life that was not the way he's

7:03 Speaker 2: supposed to be, the fact never changed that he was

7:08 Speaker 2: still a son of his father. See that's the thing

7:11 Speaker 2: I wanted to understand. You might have not understood God

7:14 Speaker 2: as a father before. You may have actually walked out

7:17 Speaker 2: of that kind of a relationship with God. You may

7:21 Speaker 2: have made some mistakes, but that did not cancel the

7:24 Speaker 2: fact that God still calls you his own child. And

7:28 Speaker 2: today that is the idea I want you to have.

7:30 Speaker 2: That is the perspective I want you to have. Then,

7:33 Speaker 2: what you have done, where you're gone, what you've been to,

7:37 Speaker 2: or even your understanding mentally, physically, emotionally or spiritually may

7:42 Speaker 2: not have been at parer with where it's supposed to be.

7:44 Speaker 2: But today, just like the prodigal son repented and you know,

7:49 Speaker 2: he came to his senses and decided to go back

7:52 Speaker 2: to the father SOS, you can make that change today

7:55 Speaker 2: and say let me go back. I don't want to

7:57 Speaker 2: live life like an orphan. I want to live life

8:00 Speaker 2: being a son of my father, and when you make

8:03 Speaker 2: that change, you know that God will lead you. When

8:07 Speaker 2: he returned to his father's house, the father didn't condemn

8:11 Speaker 2: him throw him away. He in fact ran to meet

8:15 Speaker 2: this son. In fact, the son felt he was worthless,

8:19 Speaker 2: but the father said, you are still my son. God

8:23 Speaker 2: still considers you as his own child, his own son,

8:27 Speaker 2: his own daughter. And when you walk with that awareness,

8:30 Speaker 2: that's how you will not live from a place of

8:34 Speaker 2: worry and anxiety, depression and fear, not knowing what's going

8:39 Speaker 2: to happen, but you will face everything knowing my heavenly

8:43 Speaker 2: Father is by my side, and I know that with

8:46 Speaker 2: him I can fulfill everything that He has set out

8:50 Speaker 2: for me. I really hope that this message was a
