1:20 Speaker 2: about our identity in Christ. And I want you to

1:23 Speaker 2: understand that a lot of Christians are walking in this

1:26 Speaker 2: place where they struggle to accept who God actually made

1:30 Speaker 2: them to be. They're just feeling like, look at the world,

1:33 Speaker 2: like everything looks like, oh my gosh. You know, you

1:35 Speaker 2: see these picture perfect images on social media. You look

1:39 Speaker 2: at these people who have flawless glasses of skin, and

1:44 Speaker 2: there's all of this pressure because if you notice, on

1:48 Speaker 2: my podcast, I've got the chance to interview even run

1:51 Speaker 2: out Olive Wood actresses, including someone who was an Ammy

1:56 Speaker 2: Award winning Alliwood actress and New York top model and

2:02 Speaker 2: all of that. See, I want you to understand, like

2:04 Speaker 2: when I've got to interview or rough shoulders with them,

2:08 Speaker 2: one of the things I noticed is that even in

2:10 Speaker 2: such spaces that we look up and say, oh my gosh,

2:14 Speaker 2: this person has that beautiful, you know figure, or this

2:19 Speaker 2: this attractiveness that is attached, or they have the standard

2:23 Speaker 2: of beauty, standard of attraction, or standard of who the

2:27 Speaker 2: person is as a model, but even they have shared

2:31 Speaker 2: half how people over there or even in those surrounding circles,

2:37 Speaker 2: there is this figure of oh I'm not good enough.

2:40 Speaker 2: There's something that's like I'm not at par with the standard,

2:45 Speaker 2: or that that feeling of not good enough, because that's

2:48 Speaker 2: one thing that has been unsettling for a lot of people.

2:51 Speaker 2: And maybe today you are in that place yourself. You're

2:54 Speaker 2: feeling like John. I know the Bible says things like

2:58 Speaker 2: in first Feter two ninas is, you're a chosen generation,

3:01 Speaker 2: you're a royal priesthood. And you're saying, I don't feel

3:05 Speaker 2: like I'm from the royal priesthood. I don't feel royalty

3:08 Speaker 2: because the Bible says that we are children of God,

3:12 Speaker 2: and which means that God is the king of Kings,

3:14 Speaker 2: which means that we are children of the King of

3:17 Speaker 2: Kings and the lot of lords. And that puts us

3:20 Speaker 2: in a place of royalty. And you may say, I

3:23 Speaker 2: don't feel anything like I'm of the royal origin. I

3:27 Speaker 2: don't feel anything that puts me in that place. See,

3:31 Speaker 2: and you look at first John three, verse one, it says,

3:34 Speaker 2: behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us,

3:37 Speaker 2: that we should be called children of God? Okay, so

3:42 Speaker 2: the law of God is that he has adopted us.

3:45 Speaker 2: I've shared these scriptures with you, like if you see

3:47 Speaker 2: through the Book of Romans, chapter eight, verse fifteen and sixteen,

3:51 Speaker 2: and even if you look at the Bible in Ephesians

3:55 Speaker 2: two nineteen, it says we are members of the household

3:59 Speaker 2: of God. I wanted to understand something very important here,

4:02 Speaker 2: like we're from the family of the King of kings

4:05 Speaker 2: and a lot of us. That puts us in that

4:06 Speaker 2: place of royalty. Whether you feel like it or not,

4:10 Speaker 2: whether you understand it or not, You're not ordinary. You're

4:14 Speaker 2: not how the world defines who you are. You are

4:18 Speaker 2: what the Word of God defines who you are. You

4:20 Speaker 2: get what I'm saying. See, this is where I really

4:22 Speaker 2: recommend you to be rooted in who God made you

4:26 Speaker 2: to be. See. I remember a moment when there was

4:29 Speaker 2: a big program happening and there were different personalities attending

4:34 Speaker 2: this event. There were all the top actresses and models

4:39 Speaker 2: and those in the entertainment industry, producers and authors and

4:44 Speaker 2: people who accomplished great feats. And along with all of

4:47 Speaker 2: that was also a member of a royal family. And

4:52 Speaker 2: what I noticed was this person in the royal family

4:55 Speaker 2: was not quote unquote the most attractive, the most talented,

4:59 Speaker 2: the most oppressive, the most educated, or the most accomplished

5:05 Speaker 2: person or anything of that sort. They always had somebody

5:11 Speaker 2: who is better at all of these things. But this

5:14 Speaker 2: person carried herself like, oh my gosh, you know what,

5:19 Speaker 2: I know who I am. I'm a person who's royal.

5:24 Speaker 2: I am of the royal lineage. I am not ordinary.

5:29 Speaker 2: So she had that unusual boldness about herself, unusual knowing like,

5:35 Speaker 2: you know what, Yes, you may be more talented, but

5:38 Speaker 2: I know who I am. I am from the royal lineage.

5:41 Speaker 2: You may be more educated, but I'm from the royal lineage.

5:44 Speaker 2: So she walked with that. See, this is the place

5:47 Speaker 2: of security that I want you and I to walk in,

5:51 Speaker 2: a place where we are like, you know what, so

5:54 Speaker 2: confident in the fact that I am from the royal lineage,

5:57 Speaker 2: from the lineage of the King of kings and a

6:00 Speaker 2: lot of loads, which means that people can be more

6:04 Speaker 2: talented than me, more attractive than me, more accomplished than me,

6:08 Speaker 2: than whatever it is. That doesn't affect me, that doesn't

6:14 Speaker 2: stir jealousy in me, that doesn't make me feel insecure

6:19 Speaker 2: or less than because you know what I know I am.

6:23 Speaker 2: I am a child of the King of Kings and

6:24 Speaker 2: a lot of lots. I know who I am, that

6:27 Speaker 2: I am from the royal liniage, and I know that

6:30 Speaker 2: as a child of the King of Kings and a

6:32 Speaker 2: lot of lots, I can walk with that boldness. I

6:35 Speaker 2: can walk with that courage knowing that if God is

6:38 Speaker 2: on my side, if God is leading me, if God

6:42 Speaker 2: is directing my steps, I don't have to worry about anything.

6:45 Speaker 2: See today, I want you to think about this, even

6:48 Speaker 2: as we are in the week where we remember Father's

6:51 Speaker 2: Day coming up, one of the things I want you

6:54 Speaker 2: to think about is that you can walk with that

6:58 Speaker 2: boldness and that con not from a place of arrogance,

7:02 Speaker 2: but from a place of just being confident in yourself.

7:06 Speaker 2: Instead of allowing the pressures of the world, instead of

7:09 Speaker 2: allowing social media, the entertainment industry, or Hollywood or Bollywood

7:13 Speaker 2: define who you are. Get to that place where the

7:16 Speaker 2: one who died for you on a piece of wood

7:18 Speaker 2: defines who you are. That's Jesus Christ, because he's saying,

7:22 Speaker 2: you know what, You're valuable, because you are valuable because

7:26 Speaker 2: I wanted you to be in my royal lineage. I

7:30 Speaker 2: was willing to sacrifice myself on the cross for you.

7:34 Speaker 2: And today when you walk with that awareness that you're

7:37 Speaker 2: from the royal lineage. You will not walk from a

7:40 Speaker 2: place where you feel like, Oh, I have to just

7:43 Speaker 2: make it through life. I have to just get through life.

7:46 Speaker 2: I have to just do this. I just have to

7:48 Speaker 2: do that. No, you will know without a shadow of

7:51 Speaker 2: a doubt, your identity is rooted in who God made

7:54 Speaker 2: you to be, and when you walk with that, you

7:57 Speaker 2: will have that peace, the joy, the lead like never

8:01 Speaker 2: before in your life. And you may say, John, all

8:04 Speaker 2: this sounds nice, but I don't feel like I'm from

8:07 Speaker 2: the royal family. I don't feel like that, John. My

8:10 Speaker 2: life is in a very despicable place. My finances are

8:16 Speaker 2: in a very bad place. I cannot say that I'm

8:19 Speaker 2: from the royal lineage or my life is in a mess.

8:23 Speaker 2: I just want to share an example and close. There

8:26 Speaker 2: was a moment where we had a royal wedding happening

8:29 Speaker 2: in the state of Karnataka in India a couple of

8:32 Speaker 2: years ago, and this friend of me and this friend

8:35 Speaker 2: of mine called me up and said, Hey, John, do

8:37 Speaker 2: you know that this princess who's getting married happened to

8:42 Speaker 2: be my college mate? And I didn't even know that

8:47 Speaker 2: she was from the royal lineage. She looked ordinary, she

8:51 Speaker 2: was just pursuing a course, just like everybody else. She

8:54 Speaker 2: looked like she was just another girl in the university.

8:59 Speaker 2: Nobody thought that she was anybody having any connection to royalty.

9:03 Speaker 2: But now when she's in the news, when everybody's seeing

9:07 Speaker 2: that she's getting married, and she got married to the

9:11 Speaker 2: prince and now she's unquote the queen of this particular region,

9:18 Speaker 2: she said, you know what, nobody even expected that this

9:21 Speaker 2: girl who was just another girl in the university was

9:24 Speaker 2: actually from the royal lineage. See what I wanted to

9:28 Speaker 2: understand is just because no one noticed does not mean

9:31 Speaker 2: that she was not from the royal lineage. She walked

9:34 Speaker 2: in normally, her life looked normal. But at the right

9:38 Speaker 2: appointed time, everybody got to know that she's from the

9:41 Speaker 2: royal lineage. The news, the information, and you know, everything

9:46 Speaker 2: just spread out. See that's what I wanted to understand.

9:49 Speaker 2: Sometimes your life may feel like you're not from the

9:52 Speaker 2: royal lineage. Your life may feel like you're just ordinary,

9:56 Speaker 2: nothing special about you, nothing great about you. But I

9:59 Speaker 2: want you to hold because the same way, suddenly everybody

10:03 Speaker 2: got to know who she really was. At the right

10:06 Speaker 2: time when God elevates you, promotes you and his favor

10:10 Speaker 2: trusts you to new levels. That time, people will look

10:14 Speaker 2: back and say, this person believed in that royal thing

10:19 Speaker 2: that he or she was a child of the King

10:21 Speaker 2: of Kings. Look at the levels he's gone to, look

10:25 Speaker 2: at the places she's going, and they will be amazed

10:28 Speaker 2: to see. Look what the Lord can do when you

10:31 Speaker 2: know that you're from the royal lineage of the King

10:34 Speaker 2: of Kings and the Lord of Lots. I really hope
