1:02 Speaker 2: a very despicable place. He's in a place where he's

1:06 Speaker 2: about to be killed. The next day, he's going to

1:08 Speaker 2: be put on trial and he's going to be killed.

1:10 Speaker 2: And the scripture talks about how in the midst of this,

1:13 Speaker 2: he was fast asleep. Right now, think about this. I

1:17 Speaker 2: really want you to think about this. How could Peter

1:19 Speaker 2: be in a place of rest and trust in the

1:21 Speaker 2: midst of uncertainty. I want you to go and check

1:25 Speaker 2: out my previous episode because there's so much to learn

1:27 Speaker 2: from that. But this one thing I want to talk about.

1:29 Speaker 2: When you look at verse seven, it says, when he's

1:32 Speaker 2: in the midst of this, said deenly, there was a

1:34 Speaker 2: bright light in the cell, and then Angel of the

1:38 Speaker 2: Lord stood before Peter. I want you to understand the

1:41 Speaker 2: word suddenly. Right. This is from the Nalty version, because

1:45 Speaker 2: some versions may use a different word, But I want

1:48 Speaker 2: you to understand the words suddenly. See, it looked like

1:51 Speaker 2: Peter was in this position. There was no way out

1:53 Speaker 2: in the natural. It looked like, oh my goodness, James

1:56 Speaker 2: was killed and now Peter is about to be killed.

1:59 Speaker 2: There was no way out. Of course, the scripture talks

2:01 Speaker 2: about how the church prayed for him earnestly in verse five.

2:04 Speaker 2: But yes, you see that when he's in the midst

2:06 Speaker 2: of uncertainty, in the midst of everything, looking like the

2:10 Speaker 2: same way it happened to James is going to happen

2:12 Speaker 2: to Peter. The Bible says, saiddenly, there was a supernatural intervention. See,

2:17 Speaker 2: I want you to understand. Sometimes we look at life

2:19 Speaker 2: from what happened to somebody else. We look at life

2:21 Speaker 2: from how everything looks the same. Everything looks normal, there's

2:25 Speaker 2: no visible change of anything turning around, and we think like,

2:29 Speaker 2: oh my goodness, how am I ever going to see

2:31 Speaker 2: a miracle? How is anything going to be different in

2:34 Speaker 2: my life? How is my output ever going to change?

2:36 Speaker 2: I think that I'm going to die of this sickness

2:38 Speaker 2: as well, just like that other person. I'm going to

2:41 Speaker 2: be laid off like this other person, or this other

2:43 Speaker 2: team member who was laid off in the organization. Or

2:47 Speaker 2: I'm going to face the same trials. I'm going to

2:49 Speaker 2: face the same divorce. I'm going to face the same breakup.

2:52 Speaker 2: I'm going to face the same financial crisis. I'm going

2:54 Speaker 2: to face the same trouble with my kid. So sometimes

2:57 Speaker 2: we look at the same thing because we're looking at however,

3:00 Speaker 2: everything looks normal, exactly how it looked for somebody else.

3:04 Speaker 2: Everything looks normal because you feel like nothing is changing.

3:08 Speaker 2: Peter was in this place, nothing changed, He was in change.

3:13 Speaker 2: These guards were there the same one in authority. Nothing changed,

3:18 Speaker 2: but suddenly there was a change. Suddenly there was a

3:21 Speaker 2: supernatural intervention. I don't know who needs to hear this

3:24 Speaker 2: word that you may feel like nothing is changing. You're saying,

3:27 Speaker 2: at least there should be some sign of something turning around.

3:30 Speaker 2: There should be some sign of progress, some sign of

3:33 Speaker 2: a miracle, some sign of a clouds appearing for the rain,

3:37 Speaker 2: some sign of a turnaround, or in some kind of

3:41 Speaker 2: intervention that should happen. But there is nothing happening. But

3:45 Speaker 2: I want you to understand, just because nothing has happened

3:48 Speaker 2: thus far, that's not me. Nothing will happen because the

3:51 Speaker 2: Bible uses this word suddenly for a reason. When God

3:56 Speaker 2: wants to move in your life, nothing may be changing,

3:59 Speaker 2: and then everything looks ordinary, Everything looks like it's exactly

4:04 Speaker 2: how it was for somebody else. It feels like you

4:07 Speaker 2: are headed to the same fate at somebody else. But

4:11 Speaker 2: I want you to understand the way God suddenly turned

4:14 Speaker 2: the things around in Peter's life. Said there was a

4:17 Speaker 2: supernatural intervention. Suddenly there was a breakthrough, Suddenly there was

4:21 Speaker 2: a miracle. I want to speak over you today. You're

4:24 Speaker 2: looking at your life from the natural perspective. But we

4:27 Speaker 2: serve a supernatural God. You're looking at your life from

4:30 Speaker 2: a natural outlook of life. But I want you to

4:33 Speaker 2: understand that we serve a supernatural God who is working

4:36 Speaker 2: behind the scenes. You have no idea what he's about

4:39 Speaker 2: to do and how he's going to suddainly do a

4:42 Speaker 2: miracle and turn your life around. I really want you

4:47 Speaker 2: to share this with someone because I want you to

4:50 Speaker 2: give this word of encouragement to them. They may be

4:52 Speaker 2: feeling like my life is not changing. They may be

4:55 Speaker 2: feeling like everything looks so mundane. They may be feeling like,

5:00 Speaker 2: oh my goodness, John, nothing is changing. I'm praying, I'm believing,

5:03 Speaker 2: I'm fasting, I'm looking up to the Lord. I'm having

5:05 Speaker 2: a spirit of excellence. I'm doing all of these things,

5:08 Speaker 2: but nothing is changing. But I wanted to understand nothing

5:11 Speaker 2: was changing till that moment when suddenly there was a

5:14 Speaker 2: supernatural intervention through which Peter was miraculously delivered, And that

5:20 Speaker 2: same God is the god operating in your life. It

5:23 Speaker 2: feels like you're hitting a dead hand. It feels like

5:26 Speaker 2: you're stuck in life. It feels like nothing is working out.

5:28 Speaker 2: It feels like your prayers are just hitting the wall.

5:31 Speaker 2: It feels like nothing is making any sense for you

5:34 Speaker 2: to still hold on. But I'm here to announce to

5:37 Speaker 2: you the same God who suddenly turned the situation around

5:41 Speaker 2: for Peter is going to suddenly turn your life around.

5:44 Speaker 2: He's going to bring the miracle, the breakthrough, the right connections,
